This worked great and better than I expected it to. Not only did it make the existing coverage work much better it also extended it way further and now we have wifi in the garage and back yard. My husband and son are loving it.

The Google Fiber design and setup is wonderful. We have full coverage through out our home of fast wireless internet connectivity. We have been waiting for Fiber Optic internet for years! Thank you for the wonderful service!

they are easy to set up.but do not have good range .2 is definitely not a enough .they get range interference so you need more then 2 in a house .i live in a 1750 square foot house and need probably 6 or more .that why i don’t use them.sorry.

The mesh network was easy to setup. And coverage, along with reliability, is excellent..

Bought the nest wifi with google wifi points. Have full coverage in our whole house and back yard. Really really easy to set up. My only with is that it had more ports that would allow for a wired connection. Other than that, very happy with it.

Google WiFi is an outstanding mesh wireless network. Easy network install and configuration. Provides strong signal strength in all corners of our 3,800 ft2 two-level home with 3 WiF points (router units). Two wired connections on each unit can be limiting, but additional wired connections can be accommodated with an inexpensive network switch. I am buying another system for our 2nd home, replacing the Spectrum-provided WiFi router.

Works great extending internet to far areas of our home. The technical support were very helpful

Google WiFi has been very good all these days. If I was asked to give this review a month ago, I would have rated it 5*. Having said that, lately there were some updates or something I don’t know, I have been having internet issues at home. You might say, it is my ISP issue and not Google WiFi but it is not because when I connect to my router directly I am not having any issues. Please solve the problem to earn back 5*. Despite my rating I would still recommend because they will fix it at some point or their will become extinct, with so many mesh devices available.

I bought this WiFi nest system and it was as easy as it possibly could be to set up. And it works. No problems. I can recommend this to folks with a clear conscience. And the WiFi works flawlessly throughout our entire house of 3 levels [including the basement as one level] of around 2,200 sq. ft.

Google Wifi, the perfect in MESH Wifi. I am in absolute love with these routers! They’re small, and they can sure broadcast a signal! I have 4 of these little guys, (3) of the 2016 version, and (1) of the 2020 version. This is the 2020 version with the barrel plug power supply, which I have to admit, I do like the USB power supply a little better but this one is a nice and small connector. The Google WIFI has 2 ports of the bottom of the unit, and they are both color coded with symbols on each. The setup is a breeze and once you install the APP on your phone, it walks you thru everything you need to do to get these guys working in no time flat. Once port is the one that goes from your cable modem (Internet In) and the other port would go to a wired device. I assume it was meant to go to your computer workstation wired direct however I sent mine to a mini 8 port RJ45 switch so I can distribute my internet not only wirelessly (with this Google WIFI) but also via the CAT cords running in my home. The APP on your phone controls everything, there are NO Buttons on this thing. Not even a power button (which would be somewhat nice, but I guess pulling the pull does just as good.) These things are capable of so much, from a main wifi network to a guest wifi network. It broadcasts in both 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz. Supports all the modern wifi adaptors from A to E and everything in between. I have one in my Office, One in my Kitchen, One In My Garage, and One downstairs. All 4 mesh together and connect. They don’t need wires to mesh together, just to be within range of each other. I have my house and backyard / pool area blanketed with coverage and never loose signal going from the basement to the garage and back again! I can no say enough great things on these routers, except give them a try. Once you have them, you’ll wonder why you never purchased such a great device before.

I hate this. I liked google tv just fine even if it was more expensive. This new streaming is so hard to navigate. I’m thinking of switching to spectrum.

It’s great that I can use this as a wifi point while also hardwiring my PC into it. Sometimes if it doesnt have a clear and wide open path to connect to the original wifi router it will have such issues that it will actually reset itself. Having a VPN is an issue as well if my phone connects from the original wifi router to this point it will hang on connection until I reset my phone’s wifi or disconnect the VPN for some reason. My issues are very specific and not for the typical network user so I’d still recommend it to others.

Mesh network will randomly go from “great” to “weak” without changing anything. Consistently have to reset/restart my wifi points. Such a pain to maintain. Looking to change mesh networks soon.

My stuff is always connected, that’s what I love about it. It’s integrated into my Google Home App so it’s easy to manage! I had an Eero but it couldn’t keep up with my 80 devices (mostly light bulbs) like Google Wifi does!

Google WIFI is the easiest to setup WIFI system I’ve used. It Provides easy to understand steps. I have a 2500 square foot house. The router is on one end of the house in the second floor. Had to install the other two units in the first floor. It seems that as long as there is a clean line of sight the units have great signal strength. Going through walls even in the same floor reduces the signal strength dramatically.

So far, the Nest is proving to be all that it’s cracked up to be. I’ll come back in a few months and see if it continues to be. Love that we can control the temp remotely.

This is hands down the best router I have ever used. It is so simple to set up and manage with all other smart home devices in the Google Home app. This makes it so easy to use because I can do everything from the same location with an app I love using. I can set priority devices that need a little more speed and separate the main network from guests with a guest network. The speed is unmatched from anything else I’ve used and with extra wifi points it carries easily around bigger spaces. I’m really not sure what else you could ask for in a home wifi system.
