The speed and reliability are great. My HP printer and my Spectrum wireless TV don’t work with google’s level of sophistication so I seeking ways to replace them or I’ll have to go back to Spectrum’s slow wi-fi to save paying for both Goog and Spec!

The setup was as easy as plugging the device in and scanning the QR code. The devices are both secure and fast so they support all of our online needs.

I have upgraded to the Nest WiFi since and it is solid as well only thing is you have to buy all routers, not points, to get the same functionality as these at a much higher price. I still have these running at another location and they continue to be solid.

Does it’s job. Do have a solar/battery powered security camera which is not working well with it. The signal comes and goes like perhaps it has a channel conflict with a neighbor’s wifi. I wish there was something in the home app which would show what channels it is picking up being used by which wifi signal.

My house is just under 3,000 square feet and I had to purchase 5 of these devices to get a good signal across the entire house. The signal does not reach much further than about 30 feet around the house and it is weak outside. I figured this would be a good solution for blanketing my entire acre with wifi, but even with 5 devices it only covers about 1/4 of it. I’ll be looking into another company when these give out. For now they are OK when you have signal. Also the app has been integrated into Google Home and lacks features from the original app.

I love the convenience of my Google Wifi and Nest mesh wifi routers. They are very easy to setup and manage via the app and when it works, the coverage is good. However, the router frequently drops the internet connection with the modem and I have had to factory reset my network regularly over the last couple of months. The problem is with the Nest router and I suspect it is an issue with the current firmware. My next router will probably not be a nest.

Will never recommend this to anyone. Nests constantly lose connection with modem. The app is as painful as a colonoscopy without sedation. When u have questions it just sends u to some useless page that doesn’t answer your question. A company like google and makes this trash. Bought a deco for my other home, had some trouble setting that up but WAY better and easier with an app that is so user friendly. The google nest is not the product u think it might be.

Easy to set up, can modify at any moment straight from the app, it looks sleek, never gives me issues and it’s been extremely handy and reliable without a single issue.Would like it if it had more ethernet ports to be able to connect out of it instead of the singular one would be my only downside to it.

Going from about 34mb/s to high 80’s is incredible. Only have a 100mb/s service so I wouldn’t expect my wireless to be any better than the 80’s. The extra access points also help those working during the week in the farther reaches of the house.
