1st week. Working great. I hope the speed continues. So far so good.

I don’t have much to say other than this mesh system is wonderful. It was easy to install and setup, after which I have never had any issues. Definitely a recommended product in my opinion.

Initially I thought it is a good product, but Anlot of restrictions on the privacy data masking and does not work for 2.4ghz. Waste of money, recommend to try different product
Ignacio Connelly (verified owner) –
One of my Google Wifi units is useless because it will not reset back to factory defaults. Making it worse is that the procedure on Google’s support documentation for a factory reset takes 10 minutes. This means troubleshooting the issue takes hours because every time I try something different it takes 10 minutes to see if it worked or not.

It drastically reduces the speed around my house I pay for 700 plus megabits and I only received 100 to 200 on each Wi-Fi point if you want something that slows your internet down go ahead and buy
Arnold White (verified owner) –
Worked great for a couple years, then decided to stop working. Extremely spotty wifi. Switched to Netgear Nighthawk Mesh 6.
Serenity Auer (verified owner) –
What a disappointment as this Router can’t hold its connectivity properly within the Mesh
Sofia Walsh (verified owner) –
It works most of the time and I love the family management features. Far superior to other such mesh systems I’ve looked at this far.

This is a fantastic mesh networked router. It was super easy to install and works really well. The Wifi in the house was hit and miss and now we have consistent well running connections. Great product highly recommend anything Google does.

I am testing GFW and still have Comcast/Xfinity internet service and while I am not getting 1g mbps or over 400mbs on GFW – it’s still more reliable and seems faster than Comcast/Xfinity. I however am not fond of the fact that I can’t go into the router settings – or at least haven’t figure out how to yet.

Easy to install and speed is very good. I strongly recommend google fiber. Two thumbs up

This product solved my reception problems. Before I purchased I could see my outsidecameras

This is a replacement for our prior Nighthawk R7000 router which started to die after 7 years of service. Google Wifi has improved coverage in far corners of the 2-story house where our Nighthawk had trouble getting a strong signal. I am using a 3-point mesh, although I think even two might have been ok.I get close to 400 Mbps download and 17 Mbps upload speed on the wifi connection to my laptop.Managing devices through the Google Home app works fine. I have not yet configured port forwarding, but understand that one can do that via the app.Hoping to get another 7 years (or more) of service out of these devices 🙂

This is a great addition to my wife setup easy to add and I’m back online

Don’t let it’s simple looks betray you. This kit is easy to set up, and is filled with robust features. I love the coverage. I really love the ability to schedule and control device access, which is very helpful with a family of teenagers, whom you occasionally have to force a screen time break upon. One other thing I love is the ability to temporarily prioritize a device. This is particularly useful when the wife has an important remote class to teach, or a Zoom meeting to attend. A clean and simple interface for all of the network controls, the ability to expand it even more, and even a built-in speed test? This is a really good system. So far, I am very satisfied.

I connected this point to my 3 other Google wifi points to better cover each floor. They work seamlessly.
Dan Hand (verified owner) –
The product was easy to set up, and adding in a hub at a later date was even easier! Reliable and fast speeds, and the app to manage it is just what I want in a smart home

Using two WiFi devices to cover interior and exterior (outdoor cameras) of a 2200 SQF townhouse. Strong signal and fast response. Very simple to install.

We’ve had Google Fiber since it came to town and have been pleased. We are even happier with this upgrade to the wifi.

Plugged this into my existing witless connects and it seems to have boosted our WiFi. Connection. I love how cute and clean the design is. This was super easy to install and the directions laid everything out perfectly.
