This product has been able to extend my home network easily along with supporting the needs of the family’s gaming, teleconferencing, and general browsing. Stop messing with sub-par routers and unreliable extenders. Once you get this system setup you’ll be wondering why you didn’t do it sooner. It just works.

These google WiFi have made using devices some much better in our home!!!! Our wifi before was so really bad you had to basically be in the room with the Internet but now everyone can be spread out and do what they need to get done (especially schoolwork, meetings, etc) and without any issues!!!!

We already had 3 of these covering most of my house for about 2 years. But we added a large TV in the sunroom extention to the house and the TV was not streaming reliably and its setup complained of a weak signal. So we added the 4th Google WIFI into that room and the TV streams very smothly now and shows a very strong signal. The setup was extremely easy using the cell phone app that was already in place. It seamlessly added 4th device and connected everything and performed an update. We could not be happier.

I received the Google WiFi to try for my honest review. I have been working from home since March due to COVID. My WiFi connection always went out several times a day, I only assumed it was because of being overloaded with everyone using there wifi/internet. I wasn’t able to tell a difference in speed but rarely do I lose my WiFi connection like I did before. I have to admit I have been pleased

We live inner city Austin and the aging Wi-Fi infrastructure is problematic for neighborhood, Google solved that. Just like many families we stream TV and have several phones, tablets, pc’s running simultaneously. No more problems! And to date, no outages.

Initially, my 4 Wifi mesh devices worked great with my ISP’s modem. After using them for about 3 years now, I find I have to reset them frequently to maintain a “Great” signal strength (as measured from my Google Assistant). Frequently, a few of the devices switch to “Good”, and the response speed on my wifi devices is impacted. Once reset and back to “Great” signal strength, all my wifi devices work well again. I don’t know why I have to continually reset them, it’s annoying.

Dead spots. Signal strength weak. A lot of buffering. Didn’t have any issues on my old router in 2019. Now with the Google WiFi mesh I have too many issues. Looking to change providers.

I bought a 3 pack of Google WiFi Pucks after hurricane Harvey destroyed all my network equipment. I never had a single hiccup or issue with it until I was forced to integrate from Google WiFi to Google Home. Now at least twice a week I have errors with our phones being connected to WiFi but not being able to surf. (I suspect the problem lies with transferring from one puck to another within the Mesh Network) Simply turning off the phones wifi and then turning it back on seems to solve the problem but it’s annoying. It’s funny how these same sort of issues would happen with Apple products back in the day. Then when you would upgrade to the latest Apple stuff all those issues would go away. I’m not saying Google is doing the same thing, but……. I bet if I where to upgrade my old Google pucks to the new Google Nest pucks these problems would resolve themselves. Just saying……….. My 5 stars is for the items performance overall since I’ve had them.

My google wifi, has changed my life!!! It was easy to install, easy to setup, and changed the Wi-Fi all over my entire house! I now have the same coverage in every single room! I am so in love with this! I wish i would have known about it months ago!!! I love the speed, and how quickly I saw improvement to my wifi! You do still have to pay for your internet service, but this gives you strong Wi-Fi connection throughout your entire house! I love that I can see how many devices are connected, and also disconnect them with just the click of my phone! I am highly impressed, and will be buying a few more of these!

During the first 6 months I would have easily given this system a 5 star. After a year though it’s abilities have consistently just gotten worse and worse. Signal strength is commonly poor and always inconsistent. Can no longer handle all the devices inside the home. Software his migrated to to Google home and continues to remove previously used features. Used to be able to resolve most issues by just disconnecting power for 1 seconds but lately this has been requiring me to setup the entire system from scratch, which I blame on the Google Home software. I’d upgrade but I’m not interested in the way they forcefully added the google speaker into the routers. I just want the router not a speaker. I’ve got google assistant on enough devices as it is.
