Have had Google WiFi system for several years now and have had no issues during the entire time. Had 3 points in my 3 story condo and worked great on each floor. Downsized to a 1600 sq ft apartment 3 years ago and keep all 3 points online (2 would work most likely) and no issues on any of my connected devices including 2 smart TVs with streaming apps.

This is a good product, not better than other routers. One thing i would love to change is automatic changing the router from 5.0 to 2.4.

Our modem/router is upstairs at the front of an essentially cube-shaped two-story wood-frame house. Even with a basic extender, there are too many walls and a floor to push signal through to get a good signal everywhere. Plus, as we moved through the house, phones and tablets would sometimes switch to the closest, strongest signal – but not always. Many locations could only get one or two Wifi “bars” of signal strength. Sometimes you would all of a sudden notice that you were not on ANY Wifi, burning up data. Mesh-point allows devices to remain on one Wifi, all the time. Nothing less than full-strength signal throughout our house, and even to some distance outside. MUCH better now!

I received this three weeks ago and decided it was finally a change from my old router. I like a lot of people have been using traditional Wi-Fi routers for a very long time and a lot of times they’re just not that good no matter how much money you put into them . The Google Wi-Fi is so much different. It has very easy setup with a Google app. One of the best things about this router is that while you can have multiple things running on the Wi-Fi, you can pinpoint the things you want to have priority over the Wi-Fi above everything else so if you have kids and they’re playing a lot of stuff but you need to have work done, you can make sure you are getting the most out of it. Highly recommend the Google Wi-Fi

I got this in hopes that the WiFi would reach the back of the house. The router I received when I installed the internet only allows WiFi to reach the front door, the two bedrooms near the door , and the living room. The kitchen, garage, and the master bedroom couldn’t get any WiFi connection. I heard this helps make the WiFi reach farther and relay a stronger and more reliable connection to more devices. There were times where some devices got an disadvantage compared to others and I didn’t know why. Now with the help of google home app, I can place priority on devices that really need it for an amount of time. There’s other controls like which devices can receive WiFi or parental controls which aren’t necessary in my household. I really can’t believe I didn’t get one of these earlier. It’s a total game-changer for those who have horrible internet. I don’t know why I deprived myself of this. Also, the setup for this was so simple and it comes with everything you need. The instructions are straightforward on external setup and the rest is explained and simple on the google home app. The WiFi reached the whole house and the internet speed is so much faster. I love the design of the google WiFi and I have nothing bad to say about this device. Absolutely amazing!

a few years ago i was looking for a better Wi-Fi and researched google, it was what i was looking for I bought the three pack. i can home and set up was easy, it was easy since I know what i am doing, some people might not be technology capable. be it as it may the set up to finish was easy and I was up and running with no issues. there was a few issues down the road with the firmware updates from google, google did drop the ball a few times but nothing to cripple the system at any time. i did use the google help from the app a few time and they did help and or tried to help with some of the issues. in the four years i had this WIFI I would say it was worth it. i am still using it to day but i am looking to upgrade to the WIFI 6 and waiting to see if google has any plans to update the old pods or I will look into something else. lets see what google can do for you….

We have been using Google Mesh WiFi for about two years with great results. We have a total of four access points in our mesh network and they work flawlessly with our very high-speed internet. This product and its new branding as Nest WiFi is highly recommended.

Do not port to the google home app if you have a mix of wired and wireless mesh points. I have spent a year and dozens of calls with google support. After all of that time they finally admitted that the software upgrades to cloud services have broken support for non-nest mesh points when configured with wired and wireless points on the same network. They have no solution. When software breaks supported product, good companies come ip with a solution. Google just left me hanging.

I was somewhat doubtful about the Google Wi-Fi being any better than the other popular router brands. I was proven wrong the instant I set up my first puck in Google Home. Within a few minutes my three Google Wi-Fi pucks were working perfectly in a mesh network. One puck lost connection to the primary puck in a few days and required setting up again. Since that single incident I have had no problems. I have a strong wifi signal all over my house and I can even move the puck to where I need a stronger signal. I am using one of the pucks for connecting my desktop computer and non-wifi printer via ethernet cable to my home network. Based on the ease of setup and good performance, I have no hesitation in recommending Google Wi-Fi as a great option for home Wi-fi network.

Connection kept dropping. When connected google cloud was switching nodes and connects the device to the furthest access point, which only kept me on 2.4 Ghz. There was no way to connect to the closest access point and stay on it. When I got really close then it would connect to it. Then when I walk 6 feet away to my desk, it would switch me to the furthest access point in the other room. Tech support tried to clear my google cloud info and reset everything. But still did not work. It was working fine for 2 years, but then they did an update and it screwed everything up.

Google wifi is great. Easy to set up as well as use. Makes it easy the control certain content with parental controls. The wifi range is excellent and expansion was more than I expected. Highly recommend.

Recently moved to a larger two story home and my google nest mesh Wifi config was super easy to get setup. The product has a feature rich user interface controlled from the home app. I would buy again if i had to.

Extremely enhanced my wifi reach. I replaced a garbage so-called extender than Xfinity installed. The Google WiFi saved me and my coworkers much frustration.

I’ve used and enjoyed the google mesh routers for over 3 years in multiple homes and businesses. They just work. On the other hand, the move to management through the google home app leaves A LOT to be desired. It’s no longer simple to use and quick to use. The old interface was much better, simpler and intuitive. Folks using these mesh routers want simplicity, not apps that try to do too much.

The Google Wifi Mesh system is precisely what was needed to ensure that all of our smart devices were online and functioning properly. Having multiple TVs streaming and handheld devices always in use took up a lot of broadband, making the more important security, surveillance, and access equipment fall short on performance. After upgrading to Google Mesh WiFi with two additional access points, the coverage and strength of connectivity are unrecognizable. I am very pleased with the decision to, say the least.

Very easy to connect. Works just as good as Nest wifi for my purposes, and less expensive. Thanks!

We have dsl through our phone carrier and live in a split floor plan single story house. The modem is on the kitchen/office/family room side of the house amd WiFi signal is very sketchy on the primary bedroom side and back yard. The mesh system has helped tremendously with boosting our signal throughout the entire house and back yard. It was fairly easy to set up and I highly recommend!
