Started well now im not sure what to do. The signal going in is 600mbps what comes out it 60mbps. I have two. The mesh doesn’t help.

I bought the 3 pack some time ago after struggling to get WiFi coverage throughout my rambler. My house was built in the 1960’s, then added onto in the 1980s. It also has metal siding. No matter where I tried to put a single router, I couldn’t cover my whole house. I tried some of those ‘extend your wifi’ products, with limited success. There were dead spots everywhere, or I’d have to manually connect to a different wifi point. Even if I could get an OK signal in most places, there was basically nothing outside. I bought a 3 pack of these, and with the gigabit backhaul it easily covered my entire house with wifi. Then I bought an additional pair to stick near the windows overlooking my patios – and that brought full wifi to outside of my house. I’m now free to roam anywhere in, or outside of my house without losing connection.

I liked the Google WiFi App better. The Nest is more complicated.

Works well the wifi is out of date with fiber and gig down load speed and up in today’s world without being hard wired. Time for a new wifi

Not what I expected. I have a 2000 sq. ft house and had to install (1) router and also (4) Wi-Fi Google access points lined up throughout the house. Still have (2) okay connections and (2) great connections. I expected more from Google

This mesh wifi isn’t fancy or anything, but it simply works. It’s low profile, perfect for once setup forget it forever scenarios. The biggest drawback is that it isn’t as fast as some of the most advanced wifi products. But for most households, it easily supports multiple netflix streams and video conferences simultaneously.

I love these routers. We only have DSL (lower bandwidth) due to being out in the country. Being able to pause less important devices on the app when someone has an important task has been a Godsend. Multiple routers have given us great coverage in our house, too. Overall very pleased.

Google nest is an awesome device. The coverage is very good and strong.I have a 3 story house and it works great for me. It’s very Easy to setup. However the only thing I didn’t like is that you can not configure it by PC’s browser. The only way to config the extra settings is to google Home app.

When I first purchased the google wifi mesh network extenders they worked well however over the last year the performance has consistently declined to the point of just plan horrible. I’m disappointed with google WiFi and can not recommend it. I will be purchasing a new setup to replace this setup.

So far great, I have had no issues with my internet or TV

Here’s a mesh network that’s really reliable and easy to set up. Not getting your true speeds their Wi-Fi this little device does it all. Note that I do have a smaller home so the Wi-Fi strength is really great.

Family of 4 heavy users in the house. Wife and I work from home and we’re on video calls throughout the day. We also use various tv stream services. No issues whatsoever.

I’ve been very happy with this generation. It works well with both slow and fast internet speeds. The priority device setting of nice

We had to switch from Google FiberTV and Internet to the new equipment. It’s terrible. Our coverage is worse, signal reliability is also horrible, and adding a second Nest won’t work if you have Apple iOS and the Google Home app. Google knows there is an issue but nobody has a fix. I’ve been on Tech Support calls and had two visits. No fix. You know what works? My parents XFinity Internet and my in-laws Spectrum Cable internet. We all live in the KC area. I was a massive Google evangelist and now we are exploring other internet providers. If you are looking at Google over other providers, take a serious look at the other providers.

My PC doesn’t have a wireless card. So it was a life saver that I can use the secondary connect points as a hard ethernet connection for my PC.And its blazing fast too!

I’m glad I upgraded my home WiFi to this. Great coverage without extra data cabling. Whole house now covered by 3 APs and 1 WiFi router/AP easily provisioned with GHome.

Easy to set up, and easier to use. Works amazing, and everything is controlled through the Google home app. Meaning i don’t need another app

This was so easy to set up. I had an old router that was on it’s last leg after having it 8 years. I chose Google Wifi since I already use Google Home with my Google minis. The app walked me through the setup step-by-step. Connected to the modem and scanned the QR and the app did all the work. Then for the additional 2 end points just clicked YES to add another, scanned the QR on the next device and done. There’s zero missing coverage in my place and easily supports multiple devices at the same time. No more lag on my multiple chromecasts either. Much easier than the old routers and extenders.

Audio doesn’t work great with video streaming. Miss my Google Fiber TV! Not up to par with what we had! Lots of dead areas in house now and had to get more units.
Ephraim Reilly (verified owner) –
I had a much better working system when I used a router and WiFi extender
