Enjoying our google nest and how it extended our service to our outdoor room.

The process of setup was semi easy, 2 phone calls to support for assistance. Super tech help, A few button clicks in their end and we were up and running. Basically had GF people tell system we were going from GF TV to nest. Then system loaded easily. Seems much more stable wifi connection than before. Also solid wifi signal where had been iffy in the past. Minus one star for having to call support twice to accomplish setup.

Have 4 nodes set up in my house. It helps a little bit… Just a little… Should provide better coverage. Especially in rooms where pod is nearby…

Not as strong of a signal as I thought. To have 3 mesh WiFi. I thought this would be stronger.

Majority of features are great:- ownerships- different networks- schedules Cons:- Sometimes UI management is very not intuitive though. And it takes time to adjust to it. And once you adjusted Google changes it again.- What is really missing that is url blocking and ability to see data for last 1 hour/15 minutes

I live in multilevel home not to big but old with several rooms. Before this my laptop would cut in and out if I was more than a room away from my old wifi router.

Super easy to set up and just as smart as advertised. The network is also very reliable and fast. I appreciate being able to control it with a nice app instead of the usual clunky app or web portal. A small thing I like is that there is even a setting to adjust the brightness of the status LED. I live in a one-room apartment and by default the LED was obnoxiously bright at night! But it ended up not being an issue since I could turn it down.

My 3 pack Wi-Fi (old style) was easy to set up with the step by step instructions, walking me through each module. I put one in my kitchen, one in my den, and one in my basement. My son commented on how far it reaches – to the edge of the yard, but not much further. I got it mainly because I live in a house with old 1950s plaster walls, so my regular signal wouldnt reach the basement. I will possibly get another ‘puck’ to add on later for out in my sun room

I have gigabit internet service and 3 Google WiFi units in my older 1

I went from a Nighthawk to Google Mesh and its been night and day as far as speed

Google WIFI was easy to hook up and start your own “Nesting” network. Be warned that if you do not have another Google WIFI device then you will not be able to extend the network to other parts of your house. The WIFI provided solid speeds and was simple to get running. Would recommend to anyone who needed to get a stronger signal further away from their router.

Google WiFi works great just make sure you have enough points to cover your house and you’re good to go. Setup is really easy and only takes a very short time.

At this point I’ve had my 3 Google WiFi routers for almost three weeks and will update this review as necessary. My house is ~2,600 sqft, and the coverage I’m getting across the space is good. I have a couple issues, though. The biggest problem is how the WiFi performs as I move from room to room. The switching between access points is poor. As I move from my office to the backyard, which is closer to my 2nd WiFi device, I lose service for several seconds, roughly 5-10. The same thing happens when I go from the backyard back to the office. I’ve tested this on both my mobile phone and my laptop. The other issue I’m having is upload speed. It’s only decent if I’m next to the primary WiFi device (the one connected to my modem). Otherwise, upload speed is pretty poor.Still, this is a better option than any single point WiFi router that I’ve used. Can’t compare to other mesh devices

The Google Wifi mesh is easy to setup and the application software is easy to use, I blanket my 3000 sq.ft house and the family is very happy with the coverage.

loving my google fiber wifi. the speed is great and it didn’t cost me additional money!!!!

The google WiFi network has created a stronger signal in areas of our home that were to far away from our router. By having more than one can create a mesh network providing us with greater WiFi strength than before.

google wifi was better and more useful with the google wifi application. The regression to move to the home app is a horrible experience, and I would not suggest this product. I’m currently looking for a better solution, but it’s hard to choose with the options that are far superior to this product.

Says its connection is solid and that its meshed with other router, but everything on that side of the house does not ever work or ever want to connect to this router when it says connection is solid. My home camera system and outdoor lighting does not work because mesh router doesnt work even though it says its connected.
