Easy to setup. My problem was with setting up parental control because it is managed using Google Home. My kids have Google Home on their devices so they can which we also use to control other devices in the house such as lights or thermostat, etc. So, kids then has access to also make changes to the Google WiFi settings which I do not want them to have access to.

I can say many things favorable to this product, but the one that matters more, at least to me was speed, and that’s something that this product doesn’t have.My router delivers 1000 mpbs, and the Google wifi that was just beside the router never gave more than 400, the one was that like 15 ft away barely gave 50.This product creates a mesh, a slow mesh.

We have tried other mesh systems and have found that Google pods provide best coverage and are the easiest to set up. Plus they have great customer support. Highly recommend.

I have only had good experiences since I began using Google fiber

Once set up, works very well. Had difficulty setting up. Was unaware the nested pods had to be so close to the first unit acting as the router. Support was very good.

We switched from Cox and while the speed is a lot faster the connection with the google WiFi unit isn’t great and drops a decent amount when streaming video. Expected more.

The third puck does not connect. Ever since the platform moved to google home it’s been horrible.

In a work from home environment, it is extremely helpful to have a strong Wi-Fi. I am constantly on video conference calls, so losing my connection is devastating to my productivity. Since I picked up this device, things have been much better!

This setup was so easy from going from a traditional router. I had it setup in no time at all. It worked seamlessly with my alexa and ring devices too! I like that there are additional controls that are so easy to turn in and off through the app. You can setup a guest network and have them only access whatever devices that you let them. You can also setup a family network and limit family member WiFi access and content on the internet. I love that I can expand the WiFi throughout my home by purchasing additional mesh routers too. All in all I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a router. So easy and seems very reliable this far!

I bought these mesh routers when they were on preorder. Worked flawlessly for years. Something drastic happened after Nest merged with Google. The mobile app was consolidated into the Google Home app. Shortly after, everything went down the drain and became an endless headache. I’ve gone through the typical “power off then on” steps. Factory reset Every single one of my devices. Made sure all updates were current. Spent days combing through help forums online. TLDR: I purchased a different mesh router system and the Google Mesh router system will be going in the trash. Was great while it worked.

Everything is working fantastic! I would highly recommend.

I use 5 of the WiFi hubs. I have four placed throughout my home and one in my detached garage which is about 30 feet from nearest hub. The one in the Garage has a slightly weaker signal than the rest of the house but still adequate enough to allow me to use the internet for everything I need it for while in the garage. I also like how easy it is to manage my entire home from the Google Home App.

The best wifi I have ever had. No complaints easy set up and runs beautifully. I was worried it wouldn’t be worth it but with the price, easy set up, and excellent output it is definitely worth it.
Moses Grady (verified owner) –
The router part is easy to install, but trying to add my home devices to control wifi hours on my kids is impossible. There’s got to be an easy way to do that
Gerda Farrell (verified owner) –
Purchased a 3-pack of the Google WiFi routers. Was quick and easy to set up after we had to replace our old modem and router. The range of the mesh system is a gigantic upgrade from our old N-300. I also love the option of parental controls, setting device priority, and live bandwidth usage data from the Home app.

Bought multiple access points and use it via ethernet to connect to devices like desktop PCs, rigs, etc. Very useful in that regard. Wireless works great with phones, tablets, laptops, etc. My ratio is 1 access point between 2-3 rooms and 1 access point for large living areas.
