When I switched to wi-fi it tripled my internet speed. I am very happy with it and no problem so far.

I’ve had 3 Google WiFi APs in my 2700 sq. ft. home for 2 years now and you just can’t find a dead spot. ANYWHERE. The setup was just so smooth and easy, once it was up and running it was out of mind. Aside from routinely changing the password the system has needed no maintenance. This was a definitely a good investment.

When It’s all working properly it’s great. Which means to me it just works, no need to fool around with endless adjustments. Now, the Home app interactions need some, well, adjustments. You would think a gazillion dollar parent corporation might make a difference in that department. Fortunately the gazillions enable them to pay a very helpful support staff. Thanks for that!

Doing my business from home as well as my two boys gaming all the time, I kept having issues with Wifi connection and speeds. so, I had heard about Google Wifi and decided to try it out. It was easy and pretty quick to setup. I had drop offs and bad WiFi zones all over my house. After, installing the Google WiFi, I get WiFi in every room of my house, even the back porch with faster speeds. I don’t have to fight with Internet connection issues or lagging everyday. You can also use the app to check your connection speeds etc. This has definitely made my work life a lot better and my boys can play their games at the same time without the lagging issues. I definitely recommend it.

Adding Google WiFi point to my Google Hub, creating a Mesh system, increased my satisfaction from 80% to 99.9%. I love the option of having a Guest WiFi for my Airbnb guests.

Purchased and returned 2 days later … I have a 1GB Fiber internet provider. From the wall port to the first puck I lost over 300mbps download … from the 2nd puck to my desktop wirelessly I receive 160mbps download. That is an 85% drop from the 1GB wall fiber port to my wireless desktop. Geesh, too many issues with wireless.

Easy to set up and no issues over 4 years and 5 moves.

Primary router puck (of four) just flat out bricked itself somehow after about two months. Factory reset fails completely and the entire network had to be reset from scratch. This left me with three of four pucks and so poor coverage in one area. The app is nice… when it works; too frequently, however, it just says “something went wrong.” The ability to pause devices and the stats for nerds are nice. I do not like how it automatically segmented the network which caused some ambiguous problems on initial setup with some wired devices. Basically if you have any non-trivial network setup or plan to use other stuff, the Google wifi will try to be “helpful” which will probably break some connectivity by introducing additional subnets.

The software to control and see everything in the app is great. Prioritize what you want when you want to give slightly more bandwidth to something like a laptop. Also for smart home users this router is friendly towards unlike my last router. I do have to mention the build quality is kinda poor. The top half of the router half way broke off. A studd that held it down broke when i went to move it.

Very (and I meant it!) easy to install. Worked right away. I used my old network name and password so all my devices connected right away. I still have some intermittent outages that the fiber company says are on my end, but I am not convinced.

Google has made it so easy to set up this network and add devices. Wouldn’t consider any other solution.

Wi-Fi is as important as any other FMCG product these days. So a Wi-FI router should be easy to use. You buy a toothpaste, you buy a tooth brush, then you don’t read both products manuals. You just open then paste, apply on your brush, proceed to brushing your teeth.

The google WiFi has reduced the internet speed by half, I tried with google support tech for two hours and they couldn’t solve the issue, recommended to replace the router, I tried but the replacement router also not producing optimal speed, I am only getting around 180 mbps compared 400 mbps by using my old Netgear router. I am very disappointed with it. The app and setup is very easy.

Wish it had ability to connect directly to 2.4 mhz. many bluetooth devices only work on 2.4 mhz and has difficultly connecting. Some govee wifi temperture sensors to name one.

Setup took about 30 minutes. Was very easy to configure and add to nest wifi system.

Had Google Wi-fi for over two years. Great product and the very best Support!

The Bat-Pod provides quick and easy functionality for managing my Batcave network. Having a few smart device and gaming consoles, I can prioritize bandwidth to the right device and faster game download. All the settings you need without getting overly technical.

Great speeds with great device connectivity. We have many devices on our network, and we see no issues with speed or connections. No issues with working remotely or with gaming!

My house had 5 of these mesh routers installed. Everything was working nicely for a year before 3 of the mesh access points stopped broadcasting a signal.I did a full network reset, device resets, but I couldn’t resolve the issue. (My main wifi router stayed working throughout this issue.)I ended up replacing my entire Google router/mesh network devices with the Amazon Eero routers.Whelp, these Google hubs were nice while it lasted.

Put these into my house, an 1800’s home with plaster walls, and everything is so much better. Used to use overpriced Apple products. Apple isn’t in this market anymore. Installation was very easy and when I got into Google Home app on my iPhone and discovered how easy it was to manage the routers, I was totally impressed with this google product.
