The devices work nicely, are compact, and look good. But I take issue with the operating light-they look cool, but it’s large and too bright. The unit in my bedroom was so bright I had to block it with a book. If you want a router that also acts like a nightlight that shines in your eyes, this is for you. But with three in my house, I have to wonder if I’m wasting a lot of power on these “vampire lights”.

I went to the Google walk-in center for advice on how to improve my Wi-Fi coverage in my house. My router was in the basement and on the opposite side of the house on the main floor and especially on the second floor the reception was either zero or just minimal and was very intermittent. The agent recommended Google Wi-Fi extenders because we want to keep our Google TV. The reception now is excellent. No dropped signals. Full bars. We are very happy with it.No way to improve on this one!

I just got this product for my apartment about a week ago, and the results have been night and day. I have around a 1500 square foot apartment and this router blankets practically every inch. Our speeds more than doubled the moment we set it up (which is extremely easy to do), and continue to improve as the router learns the best way to fit our needs. I would love to add another unit to just make it even faster but it really isn’t practical for the space I have. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to boost their connection speeds and make their home a little bit smarter.

Yes google fiber is fast at certain times. But what i dont like is that they took away the google fiber tv. I mean thats the whole reason i wanted google fiber but now as a new customer i cant get it not happy about that. Instead they make ubuy a chromecast with a remote well i already have a chromcast. Cutting the cord ends up costing you more money because uvhave to subscribe to all of these apps. Maybe ibshould switch to spectrum they still have cable boxes dont they

Our carrier for Wi-FI is terrible. If two people are logged in it shuts down. Google WiFi plugs into your internet modem to create your Wi-Fi, network. It expands your WI-FI network for whole home Wi-fi coverage.
