The Google Wifi device also includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

I need router with VPN and ability to change country. Google fails to provide that. Google home can only speak English which is very sad. Don’t even want to buy any other google products

I have 6 in a single story 3200 sqft home and that apparently isn’t enough. The units drop off regularly and the mesh test fails miserably in most cases.

It is one of the best WiFi solution out there. The user interface is very intuitive and easy to follow. I even tried a few WiFi 6 products but they are not as reliable requiring frequent recycling the network. I am waiting for WiFi 6 mesh solution from Google.

While I’ve had trouble with my isp, and plenty of issues with my cable modem I haven’t even had one minor snag with my googlemesh. Connecting to it is a breeze and with four units spaced around the house I never lose my connection. And the fact that googlemesh has both radio bands, 2.4 or 5, using the same name, means that for those devices that require a 2.4 band I don’t have to take any additional steps to connect to them. No second password to remember and input… Google allows each device to make its choice and the entire process happens seamlessly for me. Googlemesh is the best home internet wifi system that I’ve ever used. I only wish Google made a cable modem!!!

Honestly I am very happy with my Google WiFi. It was incredibly easy to setup, even with the multiple points, and is very simple to operate. Notifications for devices joining, in app speed tests, speed stats for specific devices, easy password change and much more all in the Home app. The three pack worked very well at covering my home and I can see a real difference in the strength of my connection. I absolutely recommend Google WiFi. It’s definitely relieved some stress and made day to day life a little bit easier.

I was looking forward to getting this for months, and it has cut in and out and has been weak in multiple connections. I should be able to stream and look up something on the internet on a different device without a glitch, or slow speeds.

I installed 3 of the units in my 2 story condo. I have great reception everywhere, including the front and rear patios. Prior to the install, I experienced buffering for upto 10 seconds. With the nest system, any buffering is 1 or 2 seconds and rare. Very pleased. Also easy to install and monitor.

I get speeds through the google home app of over 800mbps, however when I run a normal speed test through the google website it goes down to 170-200mbps. I can get higher speeds (around 250mbps) through spectrum. So why does it not show up with higher speed on anyone else’s website except there’s?
