This is definitely a great investment if you have spotty wifi! I love how easy this baby was to set up. Just go to the app they ask you to install, follow simple directions and boom you’re good to go. Thank you, Google! I’m also a fan of the design they’ve come up with. Internet companies need to take notes. I love how I can manage the router through an app. Because let’s be honest, how many times a day do we not have our phones on us? I think it’s amazing that if I need to turn off wifi on a specific device in the middle of the night, I can do so via the app. The download speeds are much faster than just what my modem can deliver which makes for less frustration. I don’t really see any cons of having this tool other than wishing it was a modem and router built into one that was of the same design. I don’t have an issue with the distance since I live in a 1100 sq ft apartment. My internet was just crappy since I live in a rural area and Google wifi knows how make it much better.

The Google WiFi I received is wonderful. I live in a very rural area and our WiFi is pretty sketchy. But with the Google WiFi we can have more than one person at a time on. It’s cute and compact. I appreciated the packaging to. No extra waste.

The Google WiFi router is great. It was easy to setup. I downloaded the app and it took less then 5 minutes to setup, couldn’t believe how easy it was. Now I get WiFi in the upstairs room where we were having connection issues. It’s so small, doesn’t take up any room what so ever.

Google Fiber 1GB Wifi is the best we’ve had so far. Always uploads/downloads at above 800kbps. No need for a wired router anywhere in the house. We have several devices using Wifi: 4 Ring Cams, Automobile, 3 Smart TVs, Wireless Printer, Thermostat, Tankless Water Heater, Lawn Sprinkler System, Air Quality Sensor. All are broadcast and controlled by our smartphone perfectly and we have never had any Wifi outage or device freezing. So far it is an A

I have been happy with all the other migrations, making Google Home a one stop shop, the WiFi however does not fit into that category. Going from the Nest app to the Google Home app means I lose the ability to support more than 5 locations. AND you cannot use it with G-Suite accounts, as a non-profit this is making it difficult to utilize.

One of the best wifi devices I’ve owned. The process of resetting and reconnecting a rogue wifi point is vague at best and I had to do my own research and a lot of troubleshooting to get it working again, but despite that road bump and wishing it had a few more Ethernet ports on the bottom, it is a consistent, reliable connection through our whole house.

Are local cable company kept increasing the price without so much as a notice. We called Google and they had an installer to her house at 9 the next morning. I git this google WiFi last week the setup was so easy plug in to modem and wall setup on phone walk through easy don in 10 minutes so my WiFi is so much better in my bedroom where my laptop is faster love it thank you google updates automatically

A great purchase. Installation was a breeze using the instructions (very simple) and took less than 1/2 hour for 4 extenders. More than doubled the area covered- now have internet poolside and in front yard in addition to every corner in the house. Must remember to reprogram any gadget that is wi-fi dependany (thermostats, ring devices etc…I forgot) . Simply great.
