Our techie kids couldn’t stand it anymore!! They like to come visit but often have work to do while here. The old router and extender was too unreliable and slow for what they had to do so they surprised us with the Google Wifi system. We now have great reception on our entire 2 acre property, never have a dropped call, and downloads are faster. It was very easy to set up, taking only about 15 minutes. We should have bought this system a long time ago.

Everybody needs the google wifi in their life! If you are like me and run numerous smart devices throughout your house then the google wifi helps to maintain all of their connectivity. Before getting the google wifi things would get kicked off of the internet left and right. I was constantly having to restart my old router. This google wifi not only helped with my productivity but it increased the wifi range in my house. This is a must have for anybody with multiple smart devices! Oh, and the easiest installation of any piece of technology I have ever used!

Our wifi was so weak before. We are very happy now!

Everything is working real good. I can get better Wi-Fi now in all rooms.

With 3 game systems 4 smart TVs and 4 phones all sharing the home network, these nest WiFi extenders are great. I paired this with the Google Fiber network and now no one complains about lagging. 🙂

I have Fiber Optic cable in the newly built house in Surprise, AZ. Being an IT Professional with remotely working from Home, I bought the Internet plan of 1 Gbps speed from COX Communication. I have 5 Google Mesh covering the entire of my house which is just a single-storied building. Needless to see, for my Office work, I need to connect my Computer thru LAN, derived from one of 5 Google Mesh. After setting up this Network, I could see the Download and Upload speed through speedtest.net is just 20 Mbps and 1 Mbps, respectively which is extremely frustrating. As a result, the Internet is drastically slow. When called the COX Engineers to investigate this issue, I was shown by them that the download and upload speed in their Modem is very close to 1 Gbps. Therefore, all the problems for this drastically slow speed in Internet are within the Google Mesh. It will be highly appreciated if you, please, could resolve this issue in Internet speed or suggest me for the resolution.

Shipment was delayed, but once it arrived the setup was super easy. Too bad they aren’t expanding more in Atlanta, I would refer more people.

After the install of the product had a hard time trying to find the right Location to please the WIfi units, end up buying another unit before I could get a good signal on all of my devices, presently performing very well.

I am reviewing the 3-Pack. Very easy set up through the Google Home app! My home has some challenging building materials when it comes to signal strength but Google Wifi’s mesh network has provided ample coverage. The speed I get wirelessly over mesh is as advertised. A nice little addition/attention to detail here is that you are able to turn down the brightness of the indicator light. Great for minimizing light pollution in the home, especially bedrooms. Oh and Google Wifi updates itself so your network always has up to date security patches, fixes and features. Great product!

Internet speeds are fast only when there’s a star connection. The wifi signal drops as I move throughout my house even though I have one access point in each corner of my house and two in the middle.

Google WiFi is amazing easy to use and the WiFi was a lot faster than most I’ve used in the past I would recommend this product to anyone needing your WiFi to be faster and it was easy as to use and understand

Google WiFi worked great for a few years.I had a few issues: 1. (no 2.4Ghz specific network for Z-Wave and some other older SmartThings devices).2. Maximum Speeds on most devices were in the 120mpbs range (speed test would come in at 700 mpbs). Adding additional pucks resulted in additional issues (periodic rebooting of entire network).3. The lack of a web interface is a pain.Recently, I had all three pucks die overnight, after about three years of service.

Great service and price. Install went well. Service is reliable. Price is the best around. So much better than Spectrum.

Our service dropped multiple times a day once we switched from our standard router to our Google Wifi. We will keep trying different things to see if we can maintain the same performance we had. I wanted it to work smoothly but no such luck. I’ll update my recommendation once we get it fixed although I’m not sure how to fix it at the moment.

We have had this and Google on Hub for about 3 years and we are still having weekly issues with it all not being stable and requiring weekly reboots to re sync everything to the network. We currently looking for another mesh system for our house as this has been a disappointing ride!!Even now having to turn off the WiFi to post this review. 🙁

I love how easy it is to connect. I also appreciate the added power user setting’s like port forwarding.I like the ability to put priority on devices, pause devices, and rename any device with ease. Seeing how much bandwidth/data easy device is using is nifty too.I also use the internal speed test all the time to check the health of my network! I highly recommend

Easy but constrained. Others are far more flexible and capable. Connectivity and simplicity are the point of these devices. However, if you want to control and the power of a WiFi mesh, go with Eero or Netgear. The app is limiting as is the ability to control the websites that your children can access. You cannot block or limit time on youtube or gaming sites; you cannot block ports or remove devices that have accessed your network in the past, only pause them. Google wants you to trust their site blocking and use schedules; which do not let you set up screen time limits or distinguish between schoolwork and playtime.

My device is moody. It comes and goes by itself. It dances around when it comes back. It changes my monitor mode (watching from my camera) to a clock mode by itself. I feel like I am dealing with a little puppy. It is not easy to train this little fellow.

After some issues getting the mesh to connect, works very well. Remarkably stable and reliable.

I’ve been a Google Fiber customer for a little more than a year. Originally GFiber comes with a regular modem which is a WiFi router at the same time known as “Connect Box”. It served it purpose and personally I did not had any issues with it as long as I was hard wired to it, consistently 900 Mbps. The issue came in when trying to connect multiple devices through WiFi, that’s when the connect box would become erratic and inconsistent sometimes even not allowing me or my guests connect to the WiFi.Since I changed to Google Wifi that became a lot less noticeable. Wifi connection even tho’ sometimes are not as fast (400 Mbps sometimes) they are really consistent and we have little to no downtime. Is a lot easier to manage and I love been able to manage my Wifi access and rules from within the Google Home app.If you need and depend on Wifi these surely will make your experience a whole lot easier. Also, they are really easy to setup.
