This google nest wifi product is great and solved all my internet issues!

Been needing an upgrade for several years but simply intimidated by the whole process.Google Wifi made it extremely easy and the results have been beyond our expectations.

Seems to work! We have a two story with a basement and were struggling to have everyone on the internet – especially with virtual school days- 3 kids in school and hubby teaches- it has helped everyone get access at the same time and yhe internet doesn’t seem as spotty.

No one at the store or in the front line of customer service really understands wi-fi certification. Most, if not all of my IIOT devices use 2.4ghz which the Google router doesn’t like. Not that it doesn’t have it, it just tries to force everything to 5ghz band. Can’t add my previous Wi-Fi points like I was gushingly promised I could.Overall setup and support of my new Google network STINKS.

I was unfamiliar with this product but I must say it was very easy to setup. The package includes an Ethernet cable which is convenient to have. The product doesn’t take up space and it has a nice status light in which the brightness can be controlled via the Google Home app. I was able to connect other devices to the wifi that I normally couldn’t due to their location in the house and now they connect. Unfortunately the signal does disconnect and become unstable at times but overall it is a nice product to have.

Barely functions as designed. “Mesh”, hah! The system is actually a hub and spoke model, units DO NOT connect to each other, they connect to the primary ONLY. Useless without wire backhauls in many installs. On top of that, the management software (Google Home) is hot garbage and can barely keep tabs on itself.

I must say that this has made my home alot happier since I installed this Wi-Fi extender. Did you see where I said that I installed it? That is really something, because I’m not tech savvy at all. It’s so easy to set up and my Wi-Fi boosted twice as much. It really works great and it’s so cute. I recommend this to anyone with sluggish WiFi and you’ll be surprised at how much better it works.

The setup was very easy. The 3 routers are spread between the house and studio and the coverage is great. We have 2 Firesticks on TV’s and the 4K feed is great. My wife and I are power users on our work at home office and studio network. Would highly recommend this Google Wifi.

I recently moved to a new place and had to set up my wifi again. After moving all of my Google devices, they failed to reconnect when connected to the new modem. The setup process, only available in the Google Home app didn’t give me any feedback as to what might not be working correctly and sent me to the help pages, which were of no actual help. I decided to delete my original home network and create a new one, which meant factory resetting the routers. I had to consult another online tutorial to figure out how to do this, and even afterward, there was a waiting period of several minutes to reset each device, during which time there was no actual way to know what was going on behind the scenes. I understand Google is trying to make the setup process very simple and streamlined, but this meant having no visibility when trying to troubleshoot. Now that things are working again, I have no complaints about the actual devices and network. I just wish the process had gone more smoothly.

Bought this to improve wifi dead spots and it solved the dead spot issues. Speed is fast and I’m very satisfied with this product.

I needed to use 2 of these in a smallish apartment because of the closet spacing and furnace placement signal blockage. These have been working perfectly until a couple of weeks ago when I had to reboot my system. The mesh extension would not pair up. Well, time to upgrade, but nope. After several resets up it came and once again working perfectly. Whew. I have even set these out on my apartment deck to extend the signal to a patio a hundred feet plus away. Worked great. Good product and almost perfect reliability

Uhg! Nothing else on WiFi and it hesitates on just one device Small space with no interference should not have issues
Dario Smitham (verified owner) –
it comes and goes and i don’t like the fact that if it’s becomes unplugged it doesn’t have a reserve time

The Wifi works well, but it encapsulates its capabilities from the user. The problems:Cannot be managed or configured by PC. the is a huge limitation that needs to be fixed. The devices should expose its settings to a web browser and provide advanced functionality to advanced users. I would have taken the ket back for this reason alone, but so far it is working well despite the limitation.Would I recommend Google WiFi, to my mother, yes, to anyone who understands computers and WiFi, no

No interruptions or dead spaces in the house. I like the notifications when someone accesses the WiFi.
