Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

I took the Google Wifi out of the box, had it hooked up, and the app downloaded in minutes. Scan the QR codes on the bottom to configure your network, give the new network a name, and set a password, then add devices you want covered. If you have a larger home over 1,500ft, you might need two. You can prioritize bandwidth with time limits, helps with parental control. You set the time limit for their device on the app, it will stop it for the time you allot. If you have Google Nest, you can use this with it also, I love it! No more buffering while watching movies, or lagging, everything loads so much quicker, I can also do an internet speed test on the app. to make sure it’s up to speed, and it updates on it’s own. No more dead spots, everybody uses the internet at once, and finally being able to watch a movie without the spinning wheel, and a teen that no longer has dropped calls.

google mesh creates separate wifi network of its own so requires reconfiguration of some wifi connected devices

I live near a hospital and have a lot of brick in my condo. This has taken out all the barriers against my WiFi lol! Best money I’ve spent!!!! I definitely recommend if you have spotty WiFi. It will eliminate the problem and provide extra security!

Easy to install. Great coverage for my home which is 4400 sq feet on 2 levels. Stylish design

I have 4 points in 2k square foot and all of the points report week connection, same floor in the next room from main router point, no walls, clear line of sight. Garbage.

Solid and reliable. Doesn’t have all the extra fluff (features) that the newer models have. Just WiFi, just what I need it for.

So far, the Nest is proving to be all that it’s cracked up to be. I’ll come back in a few months and see if it continues to be. Love that we can control the temp remotely.

We wanted to have a wifi mesh in our house, so that we are blanketed with the network wherever we go inside our home, as well as outside. Since Im an avid google product user/supporter, I went for Google Wifi over Nest wifi. I bought the 1 router and 2 point pack, which was enough for my 2000sqft home. Easy set-up with google home app, easy to create guest wifi and sharing credentials. You can already set-up family wifi as well with device restrictions and usage time. The wifi points are easy to set-up with just plugin to the power outlets. Havent had any issues with the network/packet drop while using it. Seamless transition. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

I replaced my new ASUS XT8 mesh routers because they were causing switching issues, and sometimes would leave my devices in never-never land. Totally not acceptable. So I purchased the google wifi trio, 2nd gen. Installation was done via the google home app, and went without a hitch. The new mesh has now been in place for 4 weeks, and I have yet to experience a glitch, compared to the 10 glitches per day I was experiencing previously when I had the ASUS mesh routers. All I can say about the google wifi mesh is that it just works. Period.

Not as easy to set up as expected. It took a tech from Xfinity to figure out how to make it compatible with my server.

I always have trouble with my WiFi for some reason and thought this might help. It was super easy to set up. You do have to download the app but that isn’t too difficult. I’m not sure it actually made my WiFi any faster.

Have 4 nodes set up in my house. It helps a little bit… Just a little… Should provide better coverage. Especially in rooms where pod is nearby…

Works fantastic. We got the 3-pack to get the maximum coverage for a 3600 sq ft home and outdoor area. Works great with excellent coverage! Definitely recommend.

Works great in my 3200 Sq Foot home all on one level .

I received this item to try. We’ve always had several dead spots in the house. Since acquiring this router it has helped tremendously. The worst area was the basement and we are now able get reception. It was fairly easy to set up even for a novice like me. I would probably get another one to extend further

I got this in hopes that the WiFi would reach the back of the house. The router I received when I installed the internet only allows WiFi to reach the front door, the two bedrooms near the door , and the living room. The kitchen, garage, and the master bedroom couldn’t get any WiFi connection. I heard this helps make the WiFi reach farther and relay a stronger and more reliable connection to more devices. There were times where some devices got an disadvantage compared to others and I didn’t know why. Now with the help of google home app, I can place priority on devices that really need it for an amount of time. There’s other controls like which devices can receive WiFi or parental controls which aren’t necessary in my household. I really can’t believe I didn’t get one of these earlier. It’s a total game-changer for those who have horrible internet. I don’t know why I deprived myself of this. Also, the setup for this was so simple and it comes with everything you need. The instructions are straightforward on external setup and the rest is explained and simple on the google home app. The WiFi reached the whole house and the internet speed is so much faster. I love the design of the google WiFi and I have nothing bad to say about this device. Absolutely amazing!

It works great for whole home coverage. It provides strong reliable Wi-Fi throughout the house.

It started off great but some of the recent updates seem to have cause my network to slow down. I’m even starting to see buffering on a few devices. There may of even been a loss of range one of my security cameras stopped connecting.

Majority of features are great:- ownerships- different networks- schedules Cons:- Sometimes UI management is very not intuitive though. And it takes time to adjust to it. And once you adjusted Google changes it again.- What is really missing that is url blocking and ability to see data for last 1 hour/15 minutes

Poor coverage (eight units). Ramdomly drops off line
