Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

This has expanded my Wi-Fi signal throughout the house. I now have a total of 3.

Works great I get great speeds wish there was a little more functionality to be able to look on devices and usage.

I’ve got 6 Google WiFi’s at my house and until recently they worked flawlessly. The moment I had an issue I called Google technical support and got the worst support imaginable. No call backs or followups whatsoever. Submitted my diagnostic logs and never heard back, not even after two weeks when I called them back. After I contacted them 4 times about the same issue I was told that I would need to resubmit the logs again. Bought myself a different system (Eero Pro 6) and haven’t looked back. Disappointed because I really did enjoy this system for years.

It literally does not work my wifi is still moving slow and under a lot of mbps it’s going by kbps not instead of mbps like that’s lame to me i thought it worked when really it makes your wifi worst

Google WiFi is easy to setup and the app provides useful features. The mesh is easy to extend with more devices so that you can get better coverage between floors or into your yard. I’ve never had an issue connecting a smart device to the WiFi, and the app makes it easy to setup guest passwords. The reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because 1 of 3 failed after 2 years. The nice thing is that it should be easy to just replace it with a new one. At the same time, the 2 year lifespan does give me concern. It’s overall been great, so I’ll likely but a replacement and see how it goes.

My Google wifi had been working great for several years. A month ago, it started to die. Dropping connection to internet and weak mesh connections. No fix from Google as of yet. I upgraded to Nest wifi hoping it would fix the issue and it has actually been worse. When it did work, it was awesome!

Almost impossible to figure out what is going on. While easy to set up and deploy, once that is done its almost impossible to figure out why the system isn’t working properly. There need to be diagnostic tools to analyze why the system is not working properly.

Google wifi is great. Easy to set up as well as use. Makes it easy the control certain content with parental controls. The wifi range is excellent and expansion was more than I expected. Highly recommend.

I bought the google wifi with an extra 2 points, so the 3 pack. Thinking that it would boost the existing spectrum wifi that I have. And honestly I don’t think it’s made any difference. I’m still getting really slow internet in my bedroom (for tv streaming) and also in my sons room. If you guys are reading this, I know it probably won’t persuade you from not buying but hopefully you’ll think twice or have better luck with it then I did.

Got this for my basement because the regular “plug in” ones that extend your wifi signal just wasn’t giving a good enough signal . Very easy to set up. Main one plugs into your modem and the other 2 feed off of it but only need one password. This was suggested to me by my internet tech guy who was installing another dsl line and also by a friends tech savvy brother I would definitely buy this again

I have absolutely no complaints. The product works as or better than expected.

We upgraded from 500 to the 1 gig plan. There are two people and at no time more than two streaming devices. We continually have buffering issues. Signal quality with two pucks in our 1200 sq. ft. house is great on any device, yet speed tests are in the 50-100 Mbps range consistently.

I have Fiber Optic cable in the newly built house in Surprise, AZ. Being an IT Professional with remotely working from Home, I bought the Internet plan of 1 Gbps speed from COX Communication. I have 5 Google Mesh covering the entire of my house which is just a single-storied building. Needless to see, for my Office work, I need to connect my Computer thru LAN, derived from one of 5 Google Mesh. After setting up this Network, I could see the Download and Upload speed through speedtest.net is just 20 Mbps and 1 Mbps, respectively which is extremely frustrating. As a result, the Internet is drastically slow. When called the COX Engineers to investigate this issue, I was shown by them that the download and upload speed in their Modem is very close to 1 Gbps. Therefore, all the problems for this drastically slow speed in Internet are within the Google Mesh. It will be highly appreciated if you, please, could resolve this issue in Internet speed or suggest me for the resolution.

I’ve had 3 units for a while now. Worked great until recently. The transition from the old Wifi app to Home didn’t work right so I was stuck in limbo unable to use the old app or new app. I had do a factory reset on my units and redo my setup to get back online. Unfortunately that forced me to factory reset and set up all my smart devices again.

Google has intelligently developed and executed the mesh product line. Lots of things come handy with the Google Home app. Safe search and Parental Control are very well designed, it helps in grouping devices and handle those in a group. We can schedule and limit the usage duration of the devices and also set wifi priority for the devices.
Cooper Bins (verified owner) –
I was surprised how easily these setup. All my Google home equipment all worked flawlessly. I like that you can easily monitor everything in the house using the Home App. Only downside is that I wish the internal speeds between devices were a bit faster.
Tiara Prohaska (verified owner) –
Extremely easy to install, fair price and works great…highly recommend. I’m not an IT/Tech guy by any means and still trying to get “MySpace” activated so I’m certain anyone can figure this out. Great product!

I haven’t noticed much difference with my Google WIFI. Unfortunately I have DSL internet (cable/FIOS are not available in my area). My internet speed has not increased at all. Set up was very easy. Step by step instructions. The Google Home app lets me know when there is an issue with my connection.
