Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

My stuff is always connected, that’s what I love about it. It’s integrated into my Google Home App so it’s easy to manage! I had an Eero but it couldn’t keep up with my 80 devices (mostly light bulbs) like Google Wifi does!

So far, the only complaint I have is the light shining from the middle of the wifi spot is too bright. But the reliability is fantastic!

I bought the 3 pack some time ago after struggling to get WiFi coverage throughout my rambler. My house was built in the 1960’s, then added onto in the 1980s. It also has metal siding. No matter where I tried to put a single router, I couldn’t cover my whole house. I tried some of those ‘extend your wifi’ products, with limited success. There were dead spots everywhere, or I’d have to manually connect to a different wifi point. Even if I could get an OK signal in most places, there was basically nothing outside. I bought a 3 pack of these, and with the gigabit backhaul it easily covered my entire house with wifi. Then I bought an additional pair to stick near the windows overlooking my patios – and that brought full wifi to outside of my house. I’m now free to roam anywhere in, or outside of my house without losing connection.

Very good product, the google.WiFi allows me to receive high quality signal on my whole property which is an acre

I’ve been using Google Wifi for years, and for the most part have been happy with the system, even to the point of convincing friends / relatives to switch to it. The only major issue I had was with Stadia, where input latency with the controller became a major issue. Upgrading to the Nest Wifi router solved this problem (but led to other issues… see my Nest Wifi review). My other major complaint with Google Wifi was the forced move into the Google Home app vs the dedicated Google Wifi app. From my perspective this was a major step backwards in terms of usability. I understand why this was done, but it makes for a worse experience. I really wish that Google would stop “shipping its org structure”, and instead commit to making excellent, supported user experiences.Due to this and other issues, I’ve since switched to the Asus Zenwifi system (recommended by The Wirecutter), and am much happier!

My Google WIFI was working fine till you forced us to change from the Google WIFI app to the Google Home app. The google Home app for the Iphone could not find my Google WIFI network! The Google WIFI should be manageable from a web browser like all other network hardware is!!

The FiberOptics is great and the Google units fit perfectly.

I think these work well. I have them in my home and offices. It is important that you have a good ISP, but I think that the internet signal is much better with these acting as my WiFi source rather than using the ISP’s router/WiFi functions.

You will never complain about wifi ever again. Seem less transitioning between wifi points and works flawlessly.

My 3 pack Wi-Fi (old style) was easy to set up with the step by step instructions, walking me through each module. I put one in my kitchen, one in my den, and one in my basement. My son commented on how far it reaches – to the edge of the yard, but not much further. I got it mainly because I live in a house with old 1950s plaster walls, so my regular signal wouldnt reach the basement. I will possibly get another ‘puck’ to add on later for out in my sun room

Google Wifi was surprising better than I expected. It has great signal strength, the Google Home app is intuitive to use, and I had no problems using my own custom DNS settings. I highly recommend.

Have had Google WiFi system for several years now and have had no issues during the entire time. Had 3 points in my 3 story condo and worked great on each floor. Downsized to a 1600 sq ft apartment 3 years ago and keep all 3 points online (2 would work most likely) and no issues on any of my connected devices including 2 smart TVs with streaming apps.

The software to control and see everything in the app is great. Prioritize what you want when you want to give slightly more bandwidth to something like a laptop. Also for smart home users this router is friendly towards unlike my last router. I do have to mention the build quality is kinda poor. The top half of the router half way broke off. A studd that held it down broke when i went to move it.

Family of 4 heavy users in the house. Wife and I work from home and we’re on video calls throughout the day. We also use various tv stream services. No issues whatsoever.

Google software is very poor comparedTo the original nest for motion a people recognition

This product is great!! I have such a better signal in my home through the Google WIFI than anything else I have ever used! It is super easy to install also! I have not had a dropped signal while going to different levels and rooms in the house!

We have a 4 point mesh that covers the 3000 sq ft with a usable signal. The router handles the incoming 800mbs speed with no problem. Since our home was built back in the late 1950’s the walls are plaster over metal mesh. Each room in essence is a Faraday cage of sorts. Even with that the 4 points can still manage to form a mesh and get a usable wifi connection to devices in just about all rooms.
