Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

I’m buying another one due to the limited range. Other than the limited range, it’s a good product.

Cut the cord. Roku units started lagging. Installed 3 unit on each level oh home. More then trippled my speeds. Would recommed for sure.

The Google Fiber design and setup is wonderful. We have full coverage through out our home of fast wireless internet connectivity. We have been waiting for Fiber Optic internet for years! Thank you for the wonderful service!

I definitely enjoyed this router for it’s simplicity and reliability. I was a little skeptical about how simple it was because I thought it would lack functionality but this router gives everything you need for routing and device management for internet. My favorite feature has been prioritizing devices on the network so no matter how many devices are streaming in the home or office, your prioritized device keeps a consistent connection for video calling or game streaming. I love Google Wi-Fi!

Easy to install and set up. Will work on a Nest Wifi network and can be used to add wired devices to your network like a desktop or a nas.

I had Google wifi and the distance between points got shorter and shorter. In the beginning it was great. Also, it would shut down on me and not let me in I had to get onto the guest network then go back. 50 devices and there was too much traffic for it with three points. After a few months the points that were 40 feet away would get a weak signal. I brought them closer and closer until they were practically in the same room just to get a strong signal. The garage got to be too much for it just to pass through the wall (10 feet) to the garage opener. The exact same thing with Google Nest.

Easy to install and use. Google Home app allows remote monitoring and testing, which is nice.

Basically this new mesh network set up pretty easily – I don’t know why ALL of the directions must be on line for some products – especially routers – some simple written directions would be appreciated. All in all this system works a little better then my Orbi that it replaced though the signal strength doesn’t carry as far as it did with the Orbi.

It’s working great and amazing customer service is helpful.

Coverage is great. 2500sqft house plus another 1000sqft basement and whether I was using 2 pucks or 3 I had coverage throughout. I never saw any wifi issues on my Samsung phone but my wife constantly complained of poor wifi on her Apple phone. She would switch off wifi and get much better results. Could either be Apple’s fault or poor integration between competing company products. Router on the main floor connected to ISP-provided modem, additional puck upstairs in the office with my computer connected via the ethernet port on the puck, additional puck in my son’s room for his computer. This proved to be significantly faster download/upload speeds than running our computers over wifi. Speedtest showed 300 from this machine. At some point after the move from the dedicated wifi app in to the google home app my download speeds wouldn’t go above 130 but the in app speedtest would be upwards of 800mb. It’s like the speeds between pucks stopped communicating as fast.

Have had these now for 3 years, I keep adding points in my house for better coverage. 2800sqft home, 2 story, covered patio, backyard, I have 6 and a strong signal.

One of the sadnesses of leaving Germany was losing my fiber optic connection. And moving to the west valley of Salt Lake was pure torture. Now it’s wonderful again!! Quick and easy installation and good equipment.

If it has to be limited to Wi-Fi 5, I wish the signal was strong enough that two nest routers, a point and a google Wi-Fi as AP would cover my entire house. Sadly the signal seams just as good as my cable router and one google Wi-Fi router.

Very happy with Google Fiber. The installation was better than expected, provided all the equipment, and the up and down speeds are right at 1Gig.Thanks,Paul M

Real simple to get set up and have strong WiFi signals from the basement to the top floor. I get 900 mb/s when direct and around 200 mb/s over WiFi.
Hazel Schimmel (verified owner) –
It’s not as stable as I hoped. Definitely better than my old Google router, but the new setup will drop from time to time, which is annoying. When it’s up it’s fast. I have tried moving them around the house, but no change.

When your wifi is your lifeline for work, smart home workflows you depend upon for security reasons among others releasing a broken update and application is a total deal breaker! I switched to a Netgear mesh the next day after your horrific sunset process executed on the old app and switch to the all in one google home app.
Everett Brakus (verified owner) –
It’s not a bad mesh network, but I’m not finding it to be very reliable. I have them spaced out accordingly, setup properly, and tested extensively, yet the signal is meh.

This mesh wifi isn’t fancy or anything, but it simply works. It’s low profile, perfect for once setup forget it forever scenarios. The biggest drawback is that it isn’t as fast as some of the most advanced wifi products. But for most households, it easily supports multiple netflix streams and video conferences simultaneously.
