Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

Very simple installation. Took me maybe 5 minutes if that to install.
Iva Mosciski (verified owner) –
Very easy to set up and worked seamlessly with my existing Google WiFi Mesh units. Short downtime during the install which is important. Speed is blazing fast and mesh connection is great.

The setup was very easy. The 3 routers are spread between the house and studio and the coverage is great. We have 2 Firesticks on TV’s and the 4K feed is great. My wife and I are power users on our work at home office and studio network. Would highly recommend this Google Wifi.

Wifi is incredibly fast with these plugged in. 3 floors and all are consistently lighting fast

Honestly I am very happy with my Google WiFi. It was incredibly easy to setup, even with the multiple points, and is very simple to operate. Notifications for devices joining, in app speed tests, speed stats for specific devices, easy password change and much more all in the Home app. The three pack worked very well at covering my home and I can see a real difference in the strength of my connection. I absolutely recommend Google WiFi. It’s definitely relieved some stress and made day to day life a little bit easier.

Added a three pack of these to previously existing network consisting of Arris DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem and two Nest WiFi Mesh AP Nest WiFi Mesh Point. Now have complete coverage across 5,000 square feet of property inside and outside of house.

I recently upgraded from Google’s OnHub router (w/ three ‘mesh’ units’) to Google NEST, and have run into a handful of bizarre issues thus far. For starters, it took hours of going through the same installation steps (through the Google Home app) to get my NEST Thermostat working with the NEST router. One would think this would be a more natural pairing than with OnHub, but the thermostat would either not pair with the NEST router or would lose the connection after a short while, forcing me to reinstall it. I’ve also run into a few issues with devices suddenly working at a snail’s pace despite speed tests and the Home app saying nothing is wrong. A simple reboot of the router has fixed these issues, but it’s a frustration I didn’t have to deal with when using OnHub. When things are stable, I have no complaints. I just can’t entirely recommend NEST unless you’re willing to suffer with a lot of troubleshooting initially.

This is the system that I have been searching for. Now everything just works so easily. When debating on whether or not it would be hard to set up, my amigo told me that even my grandmother could do it. I could not agree more. She would have been proud.

Litterally removed all of deadzones in my house and also i get 70 to 110 mbps speed!!

Got this as a Christmas present to replace an existing router/extender. The setup was extremely easy, the only issue was having to keep the old router for existing cameras. The coverage is excellent and the signal is strong.

The best router I’ve had so far! First off – has a sleek minimalistic design with a LED strip on the front that changes color depending on connection status. I really love the cylindrical shape with the flat top over the newer NEST router which have rounded edges. You can control the intensity of the LED or completely turn it off for convenience. The router is easy to setup, easy to manage and all options are available through the app, which is actually amazing, though if you don’t want to use you phone – you’re out of luck. Also if you have a large house/ space you can combine 3 of them in a mesh system to get good signal everywhere. The app offers great tools to manage, test and monitor your internet connection and network – like daily speed tests, per device stats, priority mode, family mode, etc.. the router comes with one Ethernet port if you want to connect your computer via cable. Had a great experience using this router for over 3 years.

Excellent system, seamlessly solved all my WiFi issues as easy as plug and play gets. Also works flawlessly with my google nest devices. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know who games or depends on their WiFi.

My house had 5 of these mesh routers installed. Everything was working nicely for a year before 3 of the mesh access points stopped broadcasting a signal.I did a full network reset, device resets, but I couldn’t resolve the issue. (My main wifi router stayed working throughout this issue.)I ended up replacing my entire Google router/mesh network devices with the Amazon Eero routers.Whelp, these Google hubs were nice while it lasted.

The initial wifi was easy to set up but the items I had connected with the other wifi were a bit difficult to get connected.
Sydnee Botsford (verified owner) –
The mesh network was easy to setup. And coverage, along with reliability, is excellent..

Google wifi has replaced Apple Airport in my home, and it is amazing! I have speeds I’ve never seen before, and no more wifi dead zones. My Smart tc, which connects wirelessly and which has rarely gotten more than 50% (“marginal”) connectivity, finally has 100% connectivity! I’m extremely pleased with this service, my boys can play their games in the their rooms on their tv’s now.

Says its connection is solid and that its meshed with other router, but everything on that side of the house does not ever work or ever want to connect to this router when it says connection is solid. My home camera system and outdoor lighting does not work because mesh router doesnt work even though it says its connected.

I’ve had a great experience with my Google Wifi setup in the few weeks since I’ve had it. It immediately solved issues I’d been having with some of my connected devices being dropped from my Xfinity router and the signal strength with only 1 or 2 hubs has been great. That said, the Home app you need to use with it is not great. The old Google Wifi device was much better, had more features, and was more stable. With the Home app, it’s about 50/50 if it will pull up the Wifi interface or if it gives me an error when I try to go to the Wifi dashboard. The Google Wifi app works every time and has more useful features. In general though, the Google Wifi hardware is great.

Product is OK and works but could be so much better. Using the app, presentation of devices connected, how much bandwidth they consume and more importantly ability to disconnect a device from the wireless network from the app are sorely lacking or poorly implemented. One would expect more from a company with as much heft as Google, but alas!

Bought the Google Wifi three unit package about four years ago as my house is relative big, 3450 sqft with two floors. Tried several routers but were not able to cover all the areas. Thought about building my own mesh network then learned about Google Wifi. Here are what I like:1. It is really easy to setup. Scan the bar code and then follow the instructions. You can choose to use only one unit or multiple unit to take advantage of the built in mesh feature.2. Overall Google Wifi is reliable. During the past four years, I only had one problem with them when my modem showing that I had good internet but I cannot connect to internet. The problem was solved after a hard reset of all three of them. I was thinking about I may need to replace them with some other routers but they are really reliable and good for me to replace them.3. They are well built with robust exterior and interior components. I did dropped one of them two times, and there was no damage at all.
