Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

I bought this WiFi nest system and it was as easy as it possibly could be to set up. And it works. No problems. I can recommend this to folks with a clear conscience. And the WiFi works flawlessly throughout our entire house of 3 levels [including the basement as one level] of around 2,200 sq. ft.

We have had Google Fiber with its TV service since it was available in Kansas City, MO. All TVs were wired to the TV Boxes that were wired to the Google Modem. We heard of the change coming 3/22 to eliminate the TV services and wired TV box approach. Changing away from the TV services was a little un-nerving as we where use to the “Cable TV” approach even though we used steaming services like Netflix. About a month into in now, the Wifi is better than ever, the two Wifi devices cover our entire house (`3000sqft). It has faster throughput then we had using the TV box Wifi. We went with YouTubeTV service and it was painless crossover and much cheaper than the original TV service.SteveB

I love this thing. Even in 2021, I bought a set for my house and a different one for my parents

Constantly having to reset itGoogle says it’s the internet provider

The install of this system is painful. I had to switch between the Google WiFi and Google Home apps to accomplish different parts of the install. Deleting a WiFi point seems impossible unless you delete the whole system and reinstall without the one you want gone. If there’s an easier way to do this, it’s not clear. Overall, I’m very happy with the system once it’s up and running. However, our move a few months ago reminded me of the pain of install.

Just switched Spectrum and are using these as my router. Can handle the 450mbs speed and spreads it evenly around the house.

Purchased a set of mesh routers to ensure whole house is covered with Wi-Fi. These work great! Wi-Fi is everywhere now…in the entire house as well as garage and workshop. Simple to set up. The first one was a little testy, but it was my fault because I was trying to make it more difficult than it actually was. After the first one, the rest were a piece of cake!

I have been using this router for 2 weeks, so far so good!

After struggling with slow speeds and sketchy connections for years, I decided to upgrade my router to the Google Wifi 3-pack. Simple to set up, and I am getting a consistent 500%(or more) speed boost over my old Linksys router. I couldn’t be happier!

Works well apprx. 70% of time. Product was easy to set up and update.

Very spotty service. I use three Nest wifi devices in the mesh to run my smart home. The devices royally fail at managing my devices. There are times when one TV is unable to connect, but another is ok. Then there are times when nothing connects, video doorbell disconnects etc. Just royally failing and becoming a pain to have to constantly reset the devices/network.

easy to install, works very well – very happy with it

The google wifi is super easy to setup and I’ve enjoyed my setup now for over a year with zero issues at all. Compared to Linksys or D-Link routers that I’ve had fail every year or two these units seem rock solid. Speed is also good clocking right at 500mbps throughout the house but keep in mind in order to achieve that you need ethernet wired with these units plugged into them so they can share the incoming internet at the best speed. I used them for 6 months without the ethernet and speeds weren’t all that impressive once you got away from the main unit … talking going from almost 500mbps to about 75mbps. That’s still fine more most stuff but if you are streaming or wanting to download new games quickly getting all you can of your internet pipe with the units wired to ethernet is the way to go. Keep in mind I only had to wire 3 rooms in the house with ethernet to give myself full 500mbps coverage throughout the entire house so well worth the effort.

Our google mesh WiFi has been a very good experience. It has provided us great WiFi throughout a good size two story house. I have 3 of the devices.I’m not super technical, but was able to set it up via the easy to use app etc on my own.I have nothing negative to say, only positive, and would recommend it/ buy it again.Hope that is helpful to others.

I’ve had this system for about 3yrs now, perhaps that’s the life expectancy for these products, I don’t know. But for the past 12 months or more I’ve had nothing but issues with these products. They lose connection CONSTANTLY, they rarely worked with the original dedicated wifi app and are now even less reliable (hard to believe) when managed via the Google Home app. Neither app allows much for way of troubleshooting issues. As far as I’m concerned the QA process at Google has decided to take an extended leave of absense. Seriously, do not buy this product.

The speed and reliability are great. My HP printer and my Spectrum wireless TV don’t work with google’s level of sophistication so I seeking ways to replace them or I’ll have to go back to Spectrum’s slow wi-fi to save paying for both Goog and Spec!

So far great, I have had no issues with my internet or TV

The google WiFi has reduced the internet speed by half, I tried with google support tech for two hours and they couldn’t solve the issue, recommended to replace the router, I tried but the replacement router also not producing optimal speed, I am only getting around 180 mbps compared 400 mbps by using my old Netgear router. I am very disappointed with it. The app and setup is very easy.
