Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

Doesn’t connect to the nest Wi-Fi network anymore. They claim that it’s compatible with the nest system, it’s not.

Recently moved to a larger two story home and my google nest mesh Wifi config was super easy to get setup. The product has a feature rich user interface controlled from the home app. I would buy again if i had to.

Speeds on the internet side of the router are close to the 1Gbs rate but inside the WiFi network individual devices might get 1/3 of that rate at best. Most of the time devices run at a rate slower than Spectrum cable that I no longer use.

This set was just what the doctor ordered. My previous ASUS unit was aging (7 yrs) and our portable devices were suffering. Enter the Google WiFi mesh network. All is swell again. Strong signal throughout our home, even into the corners of the most remote rooms. It works great! Easy to set up as well. No unsightly geeky antennae.

I have a 1/2 acre property with a detached garage/appt in the front of my home, and a boat dock at the back of the property on the Intercoastal in Florida. I’m able to get great WIFI coverage everywhere on my property, including my dock with the Google Nest WIFI. I have the Nest Router and a couple of old Google Wifi points and a couple of Nest Points throughout the property. I have to give special recognition to the high caliber support team supporting this product. I have worked with 3 different support techs, and they have ALL been Outstanding!!!!!

This is by far the best router Wi-Fi network I have ever bought. I love the integration with the Home app and the fact that you can just add additional pods to increase the penetration of your net work in the size of your networks. Being able to control all your devices through the app helps with me keeping kids under control with devices and not letting the devices control my kids. This is a great purchase anyone that uses the Internet should buy a Google Wi-Fi

Internet speeds are fast only when there’s a star connection. The wifi signal drops as I move throughout my house even though I have one access point in each corner of my house and two in the middle.

Plug it in, fire up the app, follow the prompts. That’s all you have to do. It has all of the basic functionality you need but some more granular controls would be nice.

Works well …most of the time. If power goes out or DSL has issues, most distant node does fails to rejoin the mesh. About every two to three months I have to reset the network and often have to bring the nodes closer to one another to do so. Nodes are within 80 feet of one another. Not the quality I was expecting.

Google has the best Wifi in Kansas City, MO One of the best choices I have ever made!!

Google Wifi was rock solid, and upgraded for better distance. But have had multiple experts over to fix poor connection, dropped signals, poor sync, and tried many different configurations/distances/resets. Do not recommend…and I have a pixel, and other google products.

Google Wifi is super easy to setup and is incredibly convenient. Coverage is so good, in fact, that it has created a problem for me when trying to add devices to Homekit. Since both 2.4 and 5.0 ghz connections are simultaneously active, and I need a 2.4 connection to connect to Homekit devices, I really struggle with that, since setting 2.4 or 5.0 ONLY is not an option. Even when I unplug one of the access points, it’s hard to NOT be connected to 5.0 ghz. That’s really good, but also a little annoying for me. Otherwise, I’ve had this system for a few years now and don’t see any reason or need to change!

Never gave a problem with it. The range is amazing and it is so easy to setup. I have mine in the basement and I can still get signal across the street all this with only using one module no mesh.

I will always miss Google cable but we are getting used to using streaming services with Google wifi. Sometimes still get freezing issues but it doesn’t last long. Using Utube TV which for the most part fulfills our needs.

Works well for wifi coverage. Simple process to setup using the phone app. Must use your phone. Great for the simple home user that just wants to turn it on, set it up and forget about it. This is not for the advanced user that wants to highly integrate a router into their network. Very limited capabilities. Also, google home is switching/migrating the android app to something different. I did the migration… absolutely lost sight of the entire router. Reinstalled the goggle wifi app and proceeded to wipe the pucks clean and start over. There are much better products on the market now. Do your research… Have fun, stay connected.

1st week. Working great. I hope the speed continues. So far so good.

I’ve had 3 Google WiFi APs in my 2700 sq. ft. home for 2 years now and you just can’t find a dead spot. ANYWHERE. The setup was just so smooth and easy, once it was up and running it was out of mind. Aside from routinely changing the password the system has needed no maintenance. This was a definitely a good investment.

The router part is easy to install, but trying to add my home devices to control wifi hours on my kids is impossible. There’s got to be an easy way to do that

I’ve been using my Google WiFi mesh system for the past couple years now. It has worked flawlessly. Because I built the house and wired cat5e I was able to connect 2 additional points wired. This gave me maximum bandwidth as my additional points didn’t have to handle double the bandwidth. Then, I moved to a new house that wasn’t hard-wired. Now I had to be much more careful about the placement of additional points. I ended up buying a 3rd additional point to get better coverage.I am very pleased with the performance and cost in both houses (wired and non-wired) installations.

Hi all,As of now I have now had the experience of having used both the Google WiFi Mesh and this, the Nest WiFi Mesh and well both systems have their pluses and minuses. Google WiFi pluses are they have 2 ethernet connectors on each pod allowing you to connect items directly to them or a switch away from the main router and any one can serve as the router vs only one plug-in on the router on the Nest WiFi with nothing else but just pods for everything else. Nest Wifi pluses are AC2200 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi with 4×4 antennas vs Google WiFi AC1200 with only a 2×2 antenna setup which gives you better coverage and faster internet speeds throughout your location. House, Apartment it doesn’t matter. Who ever decided that no one uses the ethernet ports, obviously did not do their homework. PLUS for both, you can use them together.
