Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

So I love my setup as I have all my access points wired for fastest speeds its one of the reasons I have not updated to new models since they don’t allow this. I also feel like the new model is lacking wifi 6 which would be a no-brainer purchase for me.

This is hands down the best router I have ever used. It is so simple to set up and manage with all other smart home devices in the Google Home app. This makes it so easy to use because I can do everything from the same location with an app I love using. I can set priority devices that need a little more speed and separate the main network from guests with a guest network. The speed is unmatched from anything else I’ve used and with extra wifi points it carries easily around bigger spaces. I’m really not sure what else you could ask for in a home wifi system.

I love the coverage I get from my Google Wifi mesh system. I went from no signal in my add on metal building to 2 bars at the farthest reach. Impressive since none of the wifi extender pods we’ve tried could even reach out there.

It’s easy to setup, however it is missing some features, like1. Backup configuration data2. Information about devices connected mesh pointsAnd I always experience the slowness on it’s WiFi after couple days running, I have to restart the main point and then the Speedtest (via speedtest.net) result goes back to normal

Enjoying our google nest and how it extended our service to our outdoor room.

I love these routers. We only have DSL (lower bandwidth) due to being out in the country. Being able to pause less important devices on the app when someone has an important task has been a Godsend. Multiple routers have given us great coverage in our house, too. Overall very pleased.

This is great product and solved my WiFi issues. This covers 1500 square feet. It’s easy to setup and it gives you better WiFi speed and coverage. It’s totally worth it and I would definitely recommend this product.

Have had Google Wifi for several years now. Used to have connection issues constantly even with Google Fiber. Haven’t had issues since. The mesh system is as awesome as advertised.

I was using a tp link ax 21 and I’m surprised at the lack of features it has for being a Wi-Fi 6 router. After comparing it to Google Wi-Fi the Google Wi-Fi is much smoother. Im on a 1GB speed plan and im surprised to say google Wi-Fi out performs my ax 21 router at least from personal experiences and I do own Wi-Fi 6 devices such as iPhone 12 Pro and iPad Pro 2020. So I can’t wait until Google releases their version of Wi-Fi 6. But until then I’m happy to be using the Google Wi-Fi. I should also mention I have the original Google Wifi as my primary and I’m using a Google on hub as my access point. Also we normally have between 15-20 devices connected. So to conclude I am very pleased with Google Wifi and it outperforms my mid entry level Wi-Fi 6 router based on my personal experience.

Great service and price. Install went well. Service is reliable. Price is the best around. So much better than Spectrum.

Google Wi-Fi greatly expanded my WiFi speed through out my home…easy to install and expand

I do not have the connectivity I thought I was paying for, partially because it is so challenging to hook up the additional echo spots. Maybe when I have a few hours this weekend, I can get it working.
Leone Price (verified owner) –
I love the mesh technology. It’s easy to transition throughout my house with little to no connectivity loss traversing from AP to AP.

Google WiFi is not reliable. WiFi points with a “great” connection change to “weak” for no apparent reason. One or multiple WiFi points drop to “offline” status, also for no apparent reason. The range of WiFi points is extremely limited. Even points just one room away from a “great” point have “weak” connections. The system occasionally drops its (wired) connection to the cable modem. It’s completely frustrating for video conferencing. Even with 12 WiFi points there are “dead” spots. I wish I did not have so much money invested in the Google/Nest infrastructure.
Conrad Bradtke (verified owner) –
Before getting mesh system I was using the cable computer router and I had several dead spots thru out my home. No more after installing Google WiFi. Good speed at spots where I previously experiencing issues. Setup is quick and simple and features for controlling access seem good. I like the quick access to usage stats. If you are considering I would I would say that I was very pleased with purchase.

Not easy to reset once you change internet providers

We love our Google WiFi. We had an issue, called them and they were there the next day and gave us a new router. What we used previously filtered all the time. With Google, no filtering!

After a bad experience with another mesh router who shall remain nameless, I gave Google a try. Installation of a three router system was a snap and it seamlessly synced with the various with all other products throughout the house. So far so good.
