Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

they are easy to set up.but do not have good range .2 is definitely not a enough .they get range interference so you need more then 2 in a house .i live in a 1750 square foot house and need probably 6 or more .that why i don’t use them.sorry.

I have an existing google nest system which was not able to fully cover the home as my main router has to be in the basement quite far from the garage where I needed to install a wireless dependent sprinkler controller. This 3 pack covers the whole house now and signal exceeds my expectations. If there is existing cat5 cable running through the house then connecting the additional nest router points to the cable gets even better signal than just wirelessly connecting the WiFi points to each other.

Very disappointed. Tried mixing google wifi with nest and just a mess. Tools dont show enough information.

Using 4 Google wifi points. 3 on the main level and one above and the signal strength is very weak. Looks like I need to buy 3 or 4 more to have a strong signal…

Extends my wifi so much further than before super useful. Great speeds as well I will definitely buy more If they release a Wifi 6 model

i could not get google to connect when I moved. I never reconnected successfully. It worked fine on my old network.

It’s great that I can use this as a wifi point while also hardwiring my PC into it. Sometimes if it doesnt have a clear and wide open path to connect to the original wifi router it will have such issues that it will actually reset itself. Having a VPN is an issue as well if my phone connects from the original wifi router to this point it will hang on connection until I reset my phone’s wifi or disconnect the VPN for some reason. My issues are very specific and not for the typical network user so I’d still recommend it to others.

Internet is running much slower than expected. It said it would cover a home that is 1500 sq feet, my home is 1256 sq feet and connection is slow.

Setup was straightforward and performance great. Right up until the time one of the nodes failed. I generally expect such devices to last longer than 3 years, thus the 3 stars.

I have been looking for a wii solution that would be powerful yet easy to set up and this product fits that bill. I purchased three google WiFi devices but have since upgraded. To four. The setup was as easy as plugging the device in and scanning the QR code. The devices are both secure and fast so they support all of our online needs.

Although Google WIFI works with Google Nest WIFI, I have random interoperability issues, to include a total Network reset

It works seamless and very easy to set up. Please note that your internet speed might get divided by 3 so you’ll probably need a higher speed connection!

If your internet provider doesn’t offer this service or you just don’t want to use their service this is a great tool to help manage screen time for the kids! Easy to set up and the application is user friendly!

Using two WiFi devices to cover interior and exterior (outdoor cameras) of a 2200 SQF townhouse. Strong signal and fast response. Very simple to install.

Purchased and returned 2 days later … I have a 1GB Fiber internet provider. From the wall port to the first puck I lost over 300mbps download … from the 2nd puck to my desktop wirelessly I receive 160mbps download. That is an 85% drop from the 1GB wall fiber port to my wireless desktop. Geesh, too many issues with wireless.

Google WiFi worked great for a few years.I had a few issues: 1. (no 2.4Ghz specific network for Z-Wave and some other older SmartThings devices).2. Maximum Speeds on most devices were in the 120mpbs range (speed test would come in at 700 mpbs). Adding additional pucks resulted in additional issues (periodic rebooting of entire network).3. The lack of a web interface is a pain.Recently, I had all three pucks die overnight, after about three years of service.

Great project and I have three for my 1700 sq feet house. Easy to set up. The only advice do not name the same as your home provider wifi as it makes it confusing, since you will now use this wifi not your providers.

I received the Google WiFi to try for my honest review. I have been working from home since March due to COVID. My WiFi connection always went out several times a day, I only assumed it was because of being overloaded with everyone using there wifi/internet. I wasn’t able to tell a difference in speed but rarely do I lose my WiFi connection like I did before. I have to admit I have been pleased

I used to recommend the Google Wifi devices… until I switched to Google Fiber as my ISP. Somehow the equipment performs far worse than it used to with Comcast. The Google wifi support team has been incredibly unhelpful and unresponsive. I cannot seem to get a straight answer on my problems and my only course of action is to abandon Google as my hardware solution as well as my internet service provider. After years of anticipation around Google Fiber I am so disappointed to be writing this review.
