Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

I was somewhat doubtful about the Google Wi-Fi being any better than the other popular router brands. I was proven wrong the instant I set up my first puck in Google Home. Within a few minutes my three Google Wi-Fi pucks were working perfectly in a mesh network. One puck lost connection to the primary puck in a few days and required setting up again. Since that single incident I have had no problems. I have a strong wifi signal all over my house and I can even move the puck to where I need a stronger signal. I am using one of the pucks for connecting my desktop computer and non-wifi printer via ethernet cable to my home network. Based on the ease of setup and good performance, I have no hesitation in recommending Google Wi-Fi as a great option for home Wi-fi network.

Simple, best , easy to configure Mesh worksHave been using this for 4 years now and have been working like new, have moved 3 times and setup was straight forward. Also, used Google wifi with ethernet support and as points.

perfect for the lazy people like me that don’t feel like running a cat 5 into another room and just add another one of these pucks.

I’m disappointed in the fact that the Google WiFi router doesn’t support Secure HomeKit. Because I briefly had an accessory installed that required the router support Secure HomeKit, I used an old Eero router I had for a period of time.I’ve now returned to Google WiFi, and the on-device speed test I did with the Eero device tested 100Mbps faster than the Google WiFi router does. And, when I do a speed test on a WiFi connected device, it test 50-100Mbps slower than Eero WiFi did. Considering I’m connected to Google Fiber, I’m shocked the provided router itself doesn’t have better performance.

The Google wifi Mesh network was easy to set up and install with my Google home application. It extends wifi with a solid signal throughout the house whether upstairs or in the basement there is a strong signal. The router is placed in the closet and the 2 additional hubs are placed anywhere we’d like in the house. It covers about 3,100 square feet. It’s also reasonably priced in a competitive market.

My apartment walls are made of Cement so I ordered 3 devices and linked them together and my wifi still doesn’t work well

WiFi works good most of the time. There are times when it is slow.

I installed 3 of the units in my 2 story condo. I have great reception everywhere, including the front and rear patios. Prior to the install, I experienced buffering for upto 10 seconds. With the nest system, any buffering is 1 or 2 seconds and rare. Very pleased. Also easy to install and monitor.

Amazing devices. One I figured out the appropriate placement for the units, we now have full coverage throughout the house for all devices.
Bethel Moore (verified owner) –
One of the two routers worked fine, one doesn’t work at all.
Peter Brown (verified owner) –
Easy setup and I now have consistent internet across the house (upstairs-basement).
Lelah Graham (verified owner) –
1st generation devices, works great. No issues with coverage, easy to monitor remotely and huge broadcast area – wifi has 3-4 bars at the mailbox!
Saul Lynch (verified owner) –
Everything works great. Wishing it was a wifi 6 system but in terms of speed it is very fast.
Kelley Bernhard (verified owner) –
loving my google fiber wifi. the speed is great and it didn’t cost me additional money!!!!

My 3 unit Google WiFi mesh worked great an solved all my dead spot problems. Now that I’ve had it a couple years, the mesh crashes once a week–all the units flash orange and I can’t connect to them to diagnose via the app. I suspect one of the units needs to be replaced, but the app doesn’t help me discover which. It just tells me when things are okay.

I love it…..the second floor of my home has great internet access and I have blinding speed.
Cyrus O’Keefe (verified owner) –
Works well the wifi is out of date with fiber and gig down load speed and up in today’s world without being hard wired. Time for a new wifi
Christophe Kunde (verified owner) –
Get great wifi throughout the house using a meshed network, but there is a few times it messed with the Google home and cast enabled devices. Everything just starts and pauses instantly (i.e. music and video). Only solution is to restart the google wifi devices.
