Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

The three-pack of Nest Wifi has given the desired strong Wifi signal throughout the house. It was easy to set up. However, due to this all being on one side of the modem/router I had has caused me to lose the ability to see an ethernet computer and print to the printer that is connected via USB to that computer. If you understand and can use a bridge, you can get around that, but I can’t. So I have to change which network I connect to if I want to print. A new Wifi printer will solve that eventually.

The Wifi works well, but it encapsulates its capabilities from the user. The problems:Cannot be managed or configured by PC. the is a huge limitation that needs to be fixed. The devices should expose its settings to a web browser and provide advanced functionality to advanced users. I would have taken the ket back for this reason alone, but so far it is working well despite the limitation.Would I recommend Google WiFi, to my mother, yes, to anyone who understands computers and WiFi, no

Google WiFi is an outstanding mesh wireless network. Easy network install and configuration. Provides strong signal strength in all corners of our 3,800 ft2 two-level home with 3 WiF points (router units). Two wired connections on each unit can be limiting, but additional wired connections can be accommodated with an inexpensive network switch. I am buying another system for our 2nd home, replacing the Spectrum-provided WiFi router.

the app is ok, even after it moved into Google home app. occasionally it’ll freeze up and need a factory reset but it’s rare. the coverage is ok but wifi6 is now becoming really available.

this is all very easy, set up took only few minutes and I got a very solid network all around a 3300 sqft home on two floors. I am able to move around while on video calls and never loose a solid signal.I get pretty much full bandwidth everywhere, I do not have a gigabit connection so this is more than enough for my needs, highly recommended!

I bought these mesh routers when they were on preorder. Worked flawlessly for years. Something drastic happened after Nest merged with Google. The mobile app was consolidated into the Google Home app. Shortly after, everything went down the drain and became an endless headache. I’ve gone through the typical “power off then on” steps. Factory reset Every single one of my devices. Made sure all updates were current. Spent days combing through help forums online. TLDR: I purchased a different mesh router system and the Google Mesh router system will be going in the trash. Was great while it worked.

Mesh network allowed to have more coverage in the house but speed was cut in half. Had to go back to the old router.

We live inner city Austin and the aging Wi-Fi infrastructure is problematic for neighborhood, Google solved that. Just like many families we stream TV and have several phones, tablets, pc’s running simultaneously. No more problems! And to date, no outages.

I’m glad I upgraded my home WiFi to this. Great coverage without extra data cabling. Whole house now covered by 3 APs and 1 WiFi router/AP easily provisioned with GHome.

Fails a lot, Wifi drops for a second and then reconnects (happens with multiple devices) Also, If the ISP connection drops the router stays offline unless you reboot it. Used it for 2 years now and it’s not a great product.

I don’t have much to say other than this mesh system is wonderful. It was easy to install and setup, after which I have never had any issues. Definitely a recommended product in my opinion.

I loved it when I had a traditional cable modem. I would connect my google wifi to my modem and boom I had a great wifi signal all through the house even out to my garage which is more than 100′ feet away from the closest wifi point. Unfortunately, I upgraded to a fiber connection from Optimum and their modem comes with a built-in router that I cannot disable. Optimum doesn’t even allow me to see my internet settings or make any changes. Both devices were constantly interfering with each other until finally, I had no choice but to put my google hardware away. This is no fault of Google, I blame Optimum for this one but I took one star off the review because I am stuck with a great piece of hardware I can no longer use.

We have a long house, and unfortunately the fiber feed is on one end. We put the second unit on the other end and now I can stream movies in my room! I couldn’t before.

I have used mesh wifi from Comcast and found it frustrating at best. In an attempt to improve my experience, I decided to give Google Wifi a try. I was very impressed with how easy it was to set up. One main frustration with mesh wifi was setting up smart devices in my house. These all seem to only want to use 2.4 Ghz and with mesh combining the two, the devices always complained and frequently had connectivity issues. With Google Wifi, they just seem to work. They connect quickly and stay connected. I have also found that the coverage from these is much better than my Xfinity pods! I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend this device for others!

Got Starlink about a month ago and added 3 points of Google Wifi to get coverage for a large area. Working great and can stream 4k videos from about anywhere. We live in a rural location with poor cell service so things working great now!

I am happy with the add on to my wifi. It was easy to set up and in the house it increased my signal. Outside not a good as I expected. I have Arlo cameras that had a poor signal and they still have a slightly less poor signal. But my laptop gets better signal so I will live with what I have.

This little guy has worked wonders for our multi-level home! Our modem is on the main level and the google extender is on the top level. Wifi is great in every single room. If you have a multi level or spacious home i suggest you try one!
