Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

After years of pain and suffering dealing with systems that are not systems … at last … one that works. We have to cover a facility and two acres … and this does the trick seamlessly. We have at last count over 3 dozen Wi-Fi devices that need fast and seamless internet. We plugged in three Google devices on a CAT6 wired LAN with absolutely no problem to cover a 5000 SF facility with lots of solid wood walls and steel material. We also installed three outside yard units without LAN wire and two wireless gap fillers inside the house. All 8 hooked up and are working without issue. I may be the exception but not one time have I had to do trouble shooting. It was plug and play the whole way … and I was really skeptical. The guest capability is very nice for friends that visit and additional peace of mind for us. The units are nearly invisible with no antennas and blinking lights … the wife really likes that we can hide them away. Yes – I’m happy with my system.

I ended up getting a different WIFI as the google wifi then Google Nest frequently stopped working, and I need my WiFi for work, kids school family meetings

Purchased an additional goggle WIFI unit and connectivity for my devices is now very poor.

I liked the Google WiFi App better. The Nest is more complicated.

I was so excited to try this!! I have been hearing amazing things about the mesh network system. And let me tell you …this did not disappoint! It is super easy and fast hooking and starting it up. I have noticed a difference in my WiFi signal. I will be purchasing more.

Way better than Spectrum. Fifteen feet makes a big difference in wireless results. Within 10 feet of router I’m at around 230mbs. When I go into the next room, about 25 feet from router and 1 wall, I’m consistently under 170. My Mac will supposedly do 800, wired, so I was hoping for a consistent 400. Still, makes Spectrum look like a Model-A.

THIS WAS VERY EASY TO SET UP! 3 steps and downloading an app and you are ready to go. I have trouble getting full wifi in all areas of my home and this has helped tremendously. you can set up networks for your family and a guest one as well. I have hooked up my roomba to the google wifi as well and it works great.

I can say many things favorable to this product, but the one that matters more, at least to me was speed, and that’s something that this product doesn’t have.My router delivers 1000 mpbs, and the Google wifi that was just beside the router never gave more than 400, the one was that like 15 ft away barely gave 50.This product creates a mesh, a slow mesh.

A great purchase. Installation was a breeze using the instructions (very simple) and took less than 1/2 hour for 4 extenders. More than doubled the area covered- now have internet poolside and in front yard in addition to every corner in the house. Must remember to reprogram any gadget that is wi-fi dependany (thermostats, ring devices etc…I forgot) . Simply great.

These are a great option for covering your house in solid wifi. Installation and maintenance is very easy.

What’s great about Google WiFi? It’s simple, easy to use. It just works. But I wish it had more security logs, controls, and visibility.
Jaquelin Koch (verified owner) –
Simple true plug and playusing six hubs to cover a 5000 sq ft two story housepretty solid overall
Oleta Kutch (verified owner) –
Overall, a great product and simple to install. Removes the wifi dead spots and allows me to Zoom from the catacombs of my lower level home office.

The price break Google offered for sunsetting OnHub devices was top-notch. The quality of the new Nest router and point are top notch. The only thing keeping from a five-star review is that the handoff / install from that existing on hub router was less than seamless. Was hoping that the two Google devices would do a bit more of a handshake/exchange information. Relatively minor inconvenience but did add 15 minutes of research and troubleshooting to the install process.
Lois Senger (verified owner) –
These Google WIFI’s just work. I have 3 and they play very nicely with all of my devices.

Barely functions as designed. “Mesh”, hah! The system is actually a hub and spoke model, units DO NOT connect to each other, they connect to the primary ONLY. Useless without wire backhauls in many installs. On top of that, the management software (Google Home) is hot garbage and can barely keep tabs on itself.
