Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

Wireless works great. Streaming services work great.Wired Ethernet to iMac is very upsetting. Download speeds often around 20 mbs and uploads under 1 mbs. It is a notable impact to my work from home status where I’m always exchanging work products. I would have reconsidered change to Google Fiber had I known.

Will never recommend this to anyone. Nests constantly lose connection with modem. The app is as painful as a colonoscopy without sedation. When u have questions it just sends u to some useless page that doesn’t answer your question. A company like google and makes this trash. Bought a deco for my other home, had some trouble setting that up but WAY better and easier with an app that is so user friendly. The google nest is not the product u think it might be.

I use 5 of the WiFi hubs. I have four placed throughout my home and one in my detached garage which is about 30 feet from nearest hub. The one in the Garage has a slightly weaker signal than the rest of the house but still adequate enough to allow me to use the internet for everything I need it for while in the garage. I also like how easy it is to manage my entire home from the Google Home App.

We got 4 inside de house and on outside and no more problems with lack of WiFi. Highly Recommend.

This is our 5th Google Wifi, we like them. Had to work with support to get a mesh Google WiFi connected back in but that worked well.

I have had Netgear, Apple, and other lesser known Wi-Fi routers. Without a doubt, Google’s is the best. It is easier to install, easier to maintain, easier to expand (just expanded from 3 to 5, including an adjacent building with NO issues). It is also less intrusive in size and styling. Basically, it does exactly what a Wi-Fi router should do: sits quietly and unnoticeable in the corner and does its job.

My previous download speed when I had spectrum it was four times faster. My download is 87 and upload is 110.

Easy but constrained. Others are far more flexible and capable. Connectivity and simplicity are the point of these devices. However, if you want to control and the power of a WiFi mesh, go with Eero or Netgear. The app is limiting as is the ability to control the websites that your children can access. You cannot block or limit time on youtube or gaming sites; you cannot block ports or remove devices that have accessed your network in the past, only pause them. Google wants you to trust their site blocking and use schedules; which do not let you set up screen time limits or distinguish between schoolwork and playtime.

I’ve used and enjoyed the google mesh routers for over 3 years in multiple homes and businesses. They just work. On the other hand, the move to management through the google home app leaves A LOT to be desired. It’s no longer simple to use and quick to use. The old interface was much better, simpler and intuitive. Folks using these mesh routers want simplicity, not apps that try to do too much.

This little Google wifi has made reception in my house so much better. Now while upstairs my reception isn’t slow and will work as though I am close to the router. Setup was really easy and quick with was great!

The.Google Wifi has been working really well for me. Recently I had some repairs in my condo where there was no AC and the Wifi continued to work flawlessly. The room temperature was in the mid 90’s fahrenheit. The initial setup using the Home App was not as intuitive as it should be so I dropped my rating a notch. Nevertheless it is a great product and I would highly recommend it.

This is a good product, not better than other routers. One thing i would love to change is automatic changing the router from 5.0 to 2.4.

Easy to setup, a little lacking in coverage for my large home. Also not easy to extend. Still 4 stars

Connection kept dropping. When connected google cloud was switching nodes and connects the device to the furthest access point, which only kept me on 2.4 Ghz. There was no way to connect to the closest access point and stay on it. When I got really close then it would connect to it. Then when I walk 6 feet away to my desk, it would switch me to the furthest access point in the other room. Tech support tried to clear my google cloud info and reset everything. But still did not work. It was working fine for 2 years, but then they did an update and it screwed everything up.

We were resetting our modem several times a week, sometimes several times a day. We haven’t had to reset it since we got the google mesh wifi. And we now have wifi out in the yard and the garage.

Used it fine was great then moved and now it is only one mesh point as the other 2wont connect. Google home says it cant find them. Tried everything they said to try. Now its a paperweight.

Great coverage and no streaming issues even with 10 streaming assets.

this google wifi router is so awesome, in my home we have lots of phones and computers and game system going and my cable wifi can get pretty slow , but with this router it has helped balance it out, it took about 8 to 10 minutes to set up, and was super easy. and i love that i can set parental controls .

The Google Wifi was extremely easy to set up. It connected my whole house with ease! It helped “speed up” the internet. Having a child who does online school, this was great! I cannot say enough good things about this device! If you have a child that is doing any sort of “distance” learning or online school this is a must have! I highly recommend this product!

While I’ve had trouble with my isp, and plenty of issues with my cable modem I haven’t even had one minor snag with my googlemesh. Connecting to it is a breeze and with four units spaced around the house I never lose my connection. And the fact that googlemesh has both radio bands, 2.4 or 5, using the same name, means that for those devices that require a 2.4 band I don’t have to take any additional steps to connect to them. No second password to remember and input… Google allows each device to make its choice and the entire process happens seamlessly for me. Googlemesh is the best home internet wifi system that I’ve ever used. I only wish Google made a cable modem!!!
