Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

Google WIFI was easy to hook up and start your own “Nesting” network. Be warned that if you do not have another Google WIFI device then you will not be able to extend the network to other parts of your house. The WIFI provided solid speeds and was simple to get running. Would recommend to anyone who needed to get a stronger signal further away from their router.

This router has been such a headache. I love my mini nests and wanted to stick with Google products so they could work together but ohh boy! For starters, the router will stop working randomly once or twice every three months and it requires a factory reset which causes me to have to reconnect ALL of my products again. Secondly, during the very few times the power has gone out because of weather or otherwise, it doesn’t come back on as normal, it has to be factory reset. It’s a good thing I’m a pro at it now, however, I would not recommend.

I have to restart every morning as it keeps going offline. I replaced with a different product.

Here’s a mesh network that’s really reliable and easy to set up. Not getting your true speeds their Wi-Fi this little device does it all. Note that I do have a smaller home so the Wi-Fi strength is really great.

I wish I hadn’t thrown away the box so I could return. I have a lot of smart bulbs and smart devices and never had a problem with connecting before. Then I got this hoping I could expand my wifi area(I have a long house). But when I set this up, everything was working okay, then everything stop being found, or said it was offline, especially my camera(which are also the google brand). I could not figure out how to fix it and I am pretty tech savy. I eventually had to disconnect it so I could get all my items to work. I was very disappointed.

The wifi pucks have to be only 10 feet away from each to fill chiton property… there distance as advertised, is not accurate.

Google Fiber 1GB Wifi is the best we’ve had so far. Always uploads/downloads at above 800kbps. No need for a wired router anywhere in the house. We have several devices using Wifi: 4 Ring Cams, Automobile, 3 Smart TVs, Wireless Printer, Thermostat, Tankless Water Heater, Lawn Sprinkler System, Air Quality Sensor. All are broadcast and controlled by our smartphone perfectly and we have never had any Wifi outage or device freezing. So far it is an A

My house is just under 3,000 square feet and I had to purchase 5 of these devices to get a good signal across the entire house. The signal does not reach much further than about 30 feet around the house and it is weak outside. I figured this would be a good solution for blanketing my entire acre with wifi, but even with 5 devices it only covers about 1/4 of it. I’ll be looking into another company when these give out. For now they are OK when you have signal. Also the app has been integrated into Google Home and lacks features from the original app.

Our modem/router is upstairs at the front of an essentially cube-shaped two-story wood-frame house. Even with a basic extender, there are too many walls and a floor to push signal through to get a good signal everywhere. Plus, as we moved through the house, phones and tablets would sometimes switch to the closest, strongest signal – but not always. Many locations could only get one or two Wifi “bars” of signal strength. Sometimes you would all of a sudden notice that you were not on ANY Wifi, burning up data. Mesh-point allows devices to remain on one Wifi, all the time. Nothing less than full-strength signal throughout our house, and even to some distance outside. MUCH better now!

Give up on range extenders and multi antenna routers that claim to cover your whole house. This is what you need. I have tried everything. Simple setup, great coverage, fast speeds.

Before I upgraded to Nest WiFi, this was my main router for my cable internet. I had a pretty good 5Ghz router before this one, but I could tell this one was much more stable, even if not much faster. I’m still trying to figure out how I can set this up standalone (and not part of a mesh network), alongside with my Nest WiFi Router (I hear this is the default, but whenever I add it to Google Home, it creates one big mesh network instead of two smaller networks — which I can understand since that’s probably how most people would use it, and how they probably think about their network anyway — as one network, regardless of number of routers).

Everybody needs the google wifi in their life! If you are like me and run numerous smart devices throughout your house then the google wifi helps to maintain all of their connectivity. Before getting the google wifi things would get kicked off of the internet left and right. I was constantly having to restart my old router. This google wifi not only helped with my productivity but it increased the wifi range in my house. This is a must have for anybody with multiple smart devices! Oh, and the easiest installation of any piece of technology I have ever used!

My installation of Google WiFi is extremely fast at 740 mbps download and 38 mbps upload. I had some initial issues switching from the Google WiFi app to the Google Home app, but now it’s wicked fast and I have to thank the Google support staff for their help with my issue.

Normally I have no issues with the wifi but ever since the last update moving over to home my wifi has been going in and out. I hope that they can fix this

Mesh coverage is not good, even with points within 10 feet unobstructed of router. All of the points’ 5ghz bands operate on the same channel, and interfere with other 5ghz devices on the network. Network speeds decrease significantly and become erratic after passing through the router. Cannot speak to quality of 2.4ghz band at this time. Google does not allow user adjustments to band and channel selection to improve wifi quality on Wifi or Google devices. Limited Ethernet ports hinder ability to create stronger network backbone while still connecting devices via Ethernet.

I have a mesh router in every building on the property. Never lose signal.

Moderately priced with a fairly simple smartphone installation ( and expansion capability) and great performing wifi enhancement, people buying this system will not be disappointed. I’ve had mine installed for several years and recently added another access point to it. It’s significantly better than any other wifi expansion of tried. Well worth the money!

I love it. I have 4 in my home, and plan on getting one more. Slowly transitioning to Googles eco system. Can’t wait to get the Pixel 6 next!

The process of setup was semi easy, 2 phone calls to support for assistance. Super tech help, A few button clicks in their end and we were up and running. Basically had GF people tell system we were going from GF TV to nest. Then system loaded easily. Seems much more stable wifi connection than before. Also solid wifi signal where had been iffy in the past. Minus one star for having to call support twice to accomplish setup.
