Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

Thus far We are satisfied with the WiFi service and the customer service.

It seems to work fine. The wiring instructions are not great.

I had three points and poor service in one end of the house. I recently added a fourth point there. It still shows “weak connection” and we still have bad service. The house is two story; 4000 sf. So four points should be sufficient. Frustrating.
Toney Hilpert (verified owner) –
Awesome performance after I started using google Wi-Fi mesh network it really working great in my all corner of myHouse.
Rachael Parisian (verified owner) –
Improved the connection around the house, and strengthen the connection for everyone.

This is a nice system the only drawback to this system that most others have is the device monitoring. When logging into the router it would be nice to be able to track device usage, how long it’s been on and what sites have been visited. You do not have much visibility and or control. Other than this the system works great.

I really like the mesh and setup of the network – fairly straight forward. Some areas where Google Wifi should be improved:1. Decouple the requirement to have outside connection to the internet – it is incredibly frustrating to diagnose internet problems (e.g. DNS, ISP vs Google Wifi, etc) when a connection to the Google cloud is required to diagnose an intranet problem. 2. Provide consistent WiFi network experience even if the internet connection goes down. Where I live occasionally there are power outages that knock out the ISP service, but because I have a generator I can still power my intranet. It would be great if Google Wifi remained functional as an intranet service without an outside connection to the internet – currently it is painful to do anything without an outside connection to the internet.

My google mesh wifi setup was never able to get beyond 100Mbps even though I have 1Gbps service to the access point. I purchased it in 2018.It has been a good system to get started with mesh but the performance is just not there.

If it hadn’t been so difficult to add one additional node to my household Google Wifi mesh system, which meant I had to uninstall and reinstall the entire system before adding a fourth node, I would have given 5 stars. And, why doesn’t the Cloud Service for the Google Wifi mesh system work? The mesh wifi works well throughout my elongated property reaching down to the basement, out to the shed and front/back yard. I like

I’m very happy with the performance of our new Google Nest system. Prior to installing it wifi coverage on the house was spotty and now it is strong on all floors.
Leila Lindgren (verified owner) –
Uhg! Nothing else on WiFi and it hesitates on just one device Small space with no interference should not have issues
Lyda Waelchi (verified owner) –
Very good if you need coverage of a big area, indoor and outdoor area.

Google Wifi review I give Google mesh Wi-Fi system five stars. Works great Support is awesome. I have Wi-Fi in my house my shop my guest house even down by the lake. A coverage area of about 7 to 8000 ft. also has two networks with one line coming in. So I set it up one network dress for me, and a guest network for friends and family. Do you have any questions call Google they’re very very helpful I gave them five stars for their support. This isn’t the only Wi-Fi system out there but it’s the only one I have tried this far. It works great for me and there’s no reason for me to try anything else. Hope this review helps you out.

Covers my entire 3000 sq ft tri-level home easily! And it was very easy to install. I highly recommend it.
Chance Abernathy (verified owner) –
Wish it had ability to connect directly to 2.4 mhz. many bluetooth devices only work on 2.4 mhz and has difficultly connecting. Some govee wifi temperture sensors to name one.
Syble Friesen (verified owner) –
Fast, consistent and I love the auto switching depending on proximity to the nearest router. Zero lag regardless of usage and number of simultaneous users. If 6 stars was an option, I give it that
