Have a stable, reliable wireless network signal by installing the Google Wifi Mesh System in your home. Comprised of three devices for up to 4500 square feet of coverage, each 802.11ac Wi-Fi point supports a maximum data throughput of 1200 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal bands. They can be individually configured to perform as a router or as satellites for your mesh network. Each is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor with 512MB of memory to handle up to 100 connected devices simultaneously with beamforming to deliver smooth 4K video streaming, video chats, online gaming experiences, and more throughout your home. Installing the Google Wifi wireless mesh network system is designed to be straightforward and easy. Simply connect the router to your modem, position each satellite throughout your home for optimal coverage, then use the Google Home app to configure the wireless network. The Google Wifi devices also include two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one connects to your modem while the other works as an access point for wired network devices such as computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Your wireless signal is secured with WPA3 encryption.

Great upgrade for our Wi-Fi network, super fast speeds through out

Bought the nest wifi with google wifi points. Have full coverage in our whole house and back yard. Really really easy to set up. My only with is that it had more ports that would allow for a wired connection. Other than that, very happy with it.

I was expecting this to be much better than the Linksys extender I had been using. While I do have more coverage in the house, the signal is constantly dropping and changing speed.

We have been using Google Mesh WiFi for about two years with great results. We have a total of four access points in our mesh network and they work flawlessly with our very high-speed internet. This product and its new branding as Nest WiFi is highly recommended.

Exactly what I expected from Google. It works. Simply, beautifully, and perfectly.

I received this three weeks ago and decided it was finally a change from my old router. I like a lot of people have been using traditional Wi-Fi routers for a very long time and a lot of times they’re just not that good no matter how much money you put into them . The Google Wi-Fi is so much different. It has very easy setup with a Google app. One of the best things about this router is that while you can have multiple things running on the Wi-Fi, you can pinpoint the things you want to have priority over the Wi-Fi above everything else so if you have kids and they’re playing a lot of stuff but you need to have work done, you can make sure you are getting the most out of it. Highly recommend the Google Wi-Fi

After using a decade old Linksys router we knew it was time to upgrade. With four family members connecting at least two devices each in addition to two smart tv’s we needed to create the bandwidth to accommodate our needs. A three pack of Google wifi extenders has allowed us to create a network we can access from each of the three levels in our home. We are extremely satisfied with the results.

Google integration is amazing – the Google home app makes modifying network ID/PW a breeze. Extremely easy to monitor traffic by devices too.However…..*NO* capability whatsoever to set devices to certain bands is a show stopper. My 2.4Ghz band pulls 10x slower speeds than my 5Ghz band all times of day for the past 2months. To videoconference working from home I had to disconnect my beloved mesh and setup my old split band router/repeater to place my phone and work PC on the 5Ghz band. Not sure what new interference appeared for my 2.4Ghz, but Google wifi’s determination of the “best” channels/frequencies was garbage. Without the simple option to set dedicated bands/channels….this is a 2-star performance. My Google mesh signals were much stronger than my single repeater…but the bottleneck performance on 2.4Ghz was intolerable for simple low-quality video streams and calls.

No desktop support. You can connect to it with a desktop, but you cant control it like you can with other routers. You must have an android device capable of running the app.I will pass on any further versions of this device and possibly others. The wifi itself is amazing and can help you cover your entire property with wifi. The software leaves much to be desired.

I had to return it. It was not right for my situation. This is a three story 6000 sq fr home with 9 people working on line. The google home ran really slow and people kept getting dropped from zoom meetings.

Initially, my 4 Wifi mesh devices worked great with my ISP’s modem. After using them for about 3 years now, I find I have to reset them frequently to maintain a “Great” signal strength (as measured from my Google Assistant). Frequently, a few of the devices switch to “Good”, and the response speed on my wifi devices is impacted. Once reset and back to “Great” signal strength, all my wifi devices work well again. I don’t know why I have to continually reset them, it’s annoying.

I have 5 wifi points plus a base unit and they work perfectly. ATT wifi is high speed and it works well with Google. It does take a little know how to get a couple of points on line at times. Google support is almost as good as Apples. The setup instruction are easy to fully and Google is easy to work with. The support people working from home are wonderful. My only suggestion is for a real person to answer the call and transfer your call to the expert. If Google would implement that process, it would put them right up there with Apple.

The system was easy to set up and easily covered my entire home with the mesh network. The downside was a significant reduction in speed. So much that I actually had to return the system because I wasn’t able to use my devices properly. My speeds used to be between 250-300Mbps and with the Google mesh was reduced to 50-70Mbps. It was very disappointing

I have 4 nest wifi points in my home. The coverage is excellent, and the speeds are great. Mesh wifi is the best solution for end users like myself that do not have wired ethernet connections in their home. I have great wifi regardless of what room I am in. If you you need a wired connection you can always install a layer 2 switch off of any point that has a ethernet connection to your hardwired devices. I highly recommend these.

Yeah it actually works as promised. I now get great coverage on my front deck and throughout all areas of my home that prior to Google WiFi, were either spotty or completely unreliable. Really easy, seamless setup and moving points is pretty fluid as well. Well done!

I’ve been looking for an easily expandable WiFi system to use at my home. Suffice it to say, I’ve tried most name brands of WiFi systems, and I feel the Google system is by far the easiest.

Great performance and range with 4 ports in 4000 home but administrator ( my son) accidentally shut down network and I was a challenge to set back up. But we got it done.

Very old school ui and help confusing and hard to figure out won’t do what i want

Wow. This was SO easy to set up and has worked like a charm!

I need router with VPN and ability to change country. Google fails to provide that. Google home can only speak English which is very sad. Don’t even want to buy any other google products
