Great blender that will last a very long time. Just looking at the blade interface, it looks like a heavy duty gear. If it is like this inside the blender this will out live me. The first time I used it was for a smoothie, it took no time to grind through the frozen fruit and it did not even groan, in other words, cut through the frozen fruit like a hot knife though butter:.. The second item I tried was a broccoli soup, came out great, however I am disappointed to learn that while the heater is on you have to manually “chop” the soap so that it does not get burnt on the bottom.Cleaning is easy, in fact easier the putting it in the dishwasher, there is a “clean” button, simply rinse, fill 1/2 way with water and few drops of dishwashing soap, press the clean button and walk away. When done simply rinse again.Not sure I would really call it a “Touchscreen” the buttons on the outside are capacitive touch, no where on the “screen” it self is there a touch feature. For me to call it a “touch screen” I should be able to touch something like the speed indicator and turn it up or down right there on the screen. Over all a fantastic heavy duty blender that I am sure will outlast me.
