I must admit I was very pleased with the quality of this item. Everything is made of heavy plastic and stainless steel. Today I pressure cooked some chicken for frying later. To tell you the truth, I have always been afraid of pressure cookers as twice I have seen them explode in a cloud of scalding steam and the lid hitting the ceiling. I was a bit hesitant to use this as a pressure cooker, but I can now see that my fears were silly as this is as safe as anything else I have used in the kitchen. It cooked quickly and it took 15 minutes to cook 4 big chicken breasts and another 11 minutes to cook 7 legs and 7 wings. What is needed from the manufacturer is better instructions as how long to cook meat per pound and a Q&A sheet to answer common questions. I had to watch a video on YouTube because I was not sure if steam escaping from the cooker was common. I liked this product and cannot wait to try the crock-pot.

It works well, I can steam vegetables really quickly, but I didn’t find how to bake. I followed the instructions in GoWISE recipe book, but I got E3 and then E2 errors.

A pressure cooker is a very convenient cooking tool. The product came well packaged and had well written instructions. I did like the recipe booklet that came with it, and am interested in trying a few out. I washed all parts that needed washing, that included the seal ring in the lid. Was easy to take out, but I did have some difficulty in putting it back. Hopefully it’ll not be so hard each time. I found a recipe and was easily able to add all ingredients into the large cooker. I did a corned beef, and was happy that it came out moist and yummy. I was kind of curious as to why I could only set the time at 45, especially when I needed to set it for 1 hour and 20 minutes. I had to let the pressure come down, then add more time to finish cooking it. This is the only complaint I have. Unless the low cooking time is for safety reasons, then it would be fine. Cleaning the machine was also super easy.I can’t wait to try more meals in this pressure cooker.

I’m still learning how to use it with some of my own recipes. But so far I love it. I can have dinner cooked in 30 min such as beef stew I made the other night. Got home late and all I had was some stew meat thawed out. Cut potatoes and all completed in 30 min. Meat was tender too…good

I have had My Pressure cooker for about a week now and have used it everyday to make my meals, I was a little intimidated at first as I have never used a pressure cooker before and it was a lot of different settings to it But I did it and It was wonderful. I have made so many things in it. I is great when you don’t have all day to cook your dinner you though everything in the pick the time you need and then let it do its thing. My stuff has come out great. I love that it has the settings for different things all in one. It is a nice size as it does not take up a whole lot of room. I have made a soup that had carrots in and set it for 20 min and the carrots were nice and soft like you let it cook all day.

This pressure cooker is nicely made. I was impressed with the heavy weight stainless steel pot. Only one meal has been cooked so far but it came out excellent. The pork roast that I pressure cooked was very tender and had excellent flavor.

From cheesecake to beans, to pulled pork, to peach/ginger/raspberry jam, to the perfect rice, steel-cut oats, and any kind of soup from scratch, this is the best. Potato salad with hard cooked eggs is now a regular addition to my menu, and I cook things I never bothered with when I used a range. We don’t need no stinkin’ ranges any more. The insert looks like new, because I never use metal utensils, dishwasher, or even a scrubbie on it, because if anything sticks, I use a paper towel with a little baking soda to scrub it off. Once something burned on, and I got it out by boiling vinegar for a few minutes. Old trick for pots works here, too. The gasket is looking a little grungy from discoloration, but it doesn’t hold the odors the way some people complain about unless I make curry, and a soak in vinegar fixes that. Since I live alone, I do a lot of ‘pot in pot’ cooking, so I almost never wash the pan. lol Think of it: no cooked-on rice or oats to scrape off of the pan, and my rice stays nice and hot in the bowl it’s cooked in until I’m ready to eat. I have hot steel-cut oats with home-made yogurt and fresh fruit every morning. You don’t do that over the stove unless someone else is cleaning up after you. All this uses is the bowl and the spoon. Sweet! Easy-peasy. I don’t remember when I last used my pots, and I only have a fry pan for eggs and stir-fry on a butane stove now. I even use my spare to heat my dishwater so I can turn off my water heater. Whatever did I do before my GoWise pressure cooker changed my life and my diet? Don’t remember, because it wasn’t as good as this.I can’t believe how terrified I was, and now, how relieved. Set it and forget it until those beeps call you to dinner. What’s not to love?I’m buying a 3 qt for my next camping trip, because the smaller one uses only 600W, whereas this 6 qt uses 1,000. I’m planning on using solar panels, and can’t afford all that. If this one ever dies, I’d buy another in a heartbeat, but like I say, it’s been a trooper, and that’s with nearly daily use for three years, often multiple times. Saves me money on my power bills, too. I live in a tiny house on a tiny income, and this helps me out with all that. If you’re on the fence because this isn’t the big name brand that’s always on tv, fuggedaboudit. This is tops in its field. I did the research before I bought, and I have no regrets, and would like to show my appreciation to the company for building such a good product. To tell the truth, I never thought it would last this long. lol But I’m so glad that it has.

These days I need to pressure cook legumes before I can digest them properly, so I was looking for something that would also steam rice and other grains. When I ordered this I don’t know what I was expecting, but this appliance is so much more. It does a great job of cooking under pressure, of course, and is very easy to use (add the ingredients and a little water, put the cover on and hit one button. Now you’re cooking!) It also has steaming features for grains and vegetables, but that’s not all. It can saute, slow cook, make yogurt, and make a soup. It is a great help with canning, as well.I love that it will cook all day, start cooking at a set time, and that after it ends the cooking cycle it will keep the food warm. plus, compared to a crock pot, it is super easy to clean because the stainless steel inner pot is so much lighter than a crock, and heats faster, too. So, I got rid of the crock pot to make room for this more versatile tool.

Extremely impressed with this cooker. Although abit heavy it has a stainless steel insert which is super light, easy to remove and clean up a breeze. Have used several functions all of which have produced amazing food! Love that I’m able to set program but then can cancel add to pot and reset with no problem. Saute and steam work well. Slow cooked meal was perfect as well as pressure cooked meal. So far I really have found no faults. Quality of pot in general is well made. With so many features actually able to replace other small appliances using just this.
