I recently purchased a GoWise 14.7 Quart Ultimate Air Fryer Oven Grill, and first off would like to say overall, I love it. I wanted to have one appliance that could replace several other small kitchen appliances and that seems to be doing the job fine. It’s my first air fryer, so a few adjustments on prep, but everything we’ve cooked to date has turned out excellent, so no problem there!There are two things that I hope will be addressed in future product updates.1) Would be nice to have Presets that could be adjusted and retain new time/temperature settings. As is, the default Preset time and temperature can only be adjusted manually. This means for example, if you find that frozen fries always take 18 minutes to cook to your liking, then you always have to manually change the 15 minute default time to 18 minutes. Minor inconvenience, but it defeats the purpose of having presets if you always have to change them.2) The other Preset related item that I would like to comment on has to do with the procedure of using the Menu and Presets. You can’t simply select a preset directly, but rather you have to scroll through the preset menu. To make something as simple as a piece of toast using the Preset takes 12 button pushes from turning on the GoWise to pressing the start key. In addition, if you like your toast more done, and have to manually adjust the time, you’re adding even more button pushes. 12-20 button selections for a piece of toast seems a bit over the top. Again, kind of a hassle, but I would have spent a few bucks more to have a more direct selection of presets.Thanks!

The air fryer stopped heating after 4 months of use. It’s used mainly for reheating but also some cooking about 3 or 4 times a week. I have sent information to the company and awaiting a reply. It wasn’t exactly as big as I had wanted but works ok for 2 people. The rotisserie for a whole chicken didn’t work well at all. The product seemed to work better to use it to rewarm food than to cook with. I do like the fact that the outside doesn’t get hot which is my main reason for switching from a toaster oven to an air fryer oven. I tried baking potatoes in it and they had a funny flavor. All and all its ok, but not sure I’d buy it again. Hoping this one gets refunded or replaced. If not, I’ll look for a larger one more like the toaster oven because this space is too small for some things.They don’t actually list my model on here, mine is the GW44800 that I purchased the end of June. I will put that I would recommend this mainly because it stays cool to the touch and I believe that is safer. Also, it’s great to rewarm food.

I’ve been using some smaller units, first a 4 or 5 qt, then a larger standard basket type air fryer. I wanted more capacity and started looking around.I first saw the older version of one of these Gowise fryers, and instantly was hooked with the shish kabob accessory. Further digging showed me this newer unit, and I was fortunate to grab the last one before they went backorder.Arrived quickly straight from GoWise, in perfect shape. Unboxed, and was amazed at how many things came with it. After a few years with just a basket, this was nirvana.Controls are easy to figure out, and the results are outstanding. I love the top and bottom elements, although I do shuffle trays around depending on what I make just so that things aren’t too near just one for too long.Rotisserie hasn’t been used, but the very first thing I DID use was the shish kabob accessory, since that’s what I bought it for. Downside is it’s a bit cramped, and can be a bit of a pain to get inserted once it’s full, but it was far easier to get it out, and it turned out just about perfect. Fries, potato wedges, everything else we’ve done so far has worked fine. And I love that it holds more, far more than my basket fryer did.Drip tray did the trick with all the drippings from the shish kabobs, and so far this has been easy to clean.Very glad I purchased this.

I purchased this toaster oven for the multiple features. I should have paid more attention to the size of the oven space itself, the capacity had me convinced it would be large enough. An eight inch pie plate was so close fitting I felt air circulation would be impeded and baking would not be even throughout. So I can’t speak to it’s performance. I returned it without having .been used

I also own the GoWise 5.8 qt 8-in-1 and love it so I thought the the 14.7 might be a great addition to that! Boy am I glad I made this purchase! The first thing I air fried was fish filets. They were PERFECTLY flaky and crispy. The other thing I wanted this air fryer for is the rotesserie. I cooked a 2.5 lb chicken in about 45 minutes and a 3 lb chicken in 1 hour. Both were outstanding! Tender and juicy! I LOVE this Air Fryer oven and do not regret the purchase at all!!!

Product doesn’t work as good as my last GoWiseUSA air fryer. This one does work but seems like it smokes up more and takes longer to heat thus increasing cooking times. I’ve used it to cook mostly meats and fish and have use the rotisserie and kabobs utensils. This is my 4th GoWiseUSA air fryer and they usually last about 2 years before I have to throw them in the trash and that’s with cooking using 2-3x a week. They tend to fall apart at the screws and doors tend to crack and break off towards the end of the product life cycle. I keep going back to GoWiseUSA because of their price point and their reviews seems to still be a bit higher than others in the same price point. Overall I’m a fan of air fryers and do enjoy cooking with them as I don’t like cooking with oil and often want my meals come together in under 20 mins and these products do the job.

I can’t use my oven, it was deemed a fire hazard. I have a few air fryers but this was the first one that I saw with a grill plate and that is a game changer. Burgers, steaks, crab cakes, lobster tails I do it all with the grill plate. There is only one item that I wish could be changed and that is the air fryer basket. Things stick to it and I don’t use oil on anything because it is a air fryer. I usually end up just letting it sit in something that can hold water so it soaks pretty much of the stuff off.

This air fryer does it all and makes quick work out of everything it cooks! It can air fry, rotisserie, bake, broil, toast, and convection bake. There are several preprogrammed buttons for commonly cooked foods like pizza, or you can set the temperature/time/burners manually. Additionally, you can set the temp to as low as 180F to keep dishes warm. It is quickly becoming our go to cooking appliance.

Pros:I love the preheat function.The dual heating elements… no need to flip your food as it’s getting heat from the top and bottom.I love the fact that you can choose top, bottom or both heating elements.The bottom heating elements are easy to clean (I was worried about that).The grill plate is also super easy to clean.The temperature selection goes up to 450°.The light seems to be brighter in this unit (not sure if that’s my imagination or not).The steak cage from my Ultra fits this unit (I was afraid I would miss that but it fits perfectly). It says on the GoWise site that it doesn’t fit this unit, but it works perfectly.Cons:The cook book is sadly lacking. I was hoping for more grilling recipes but only found a steak recipe.The recipe app is even worse than the cook book.The temperature can only be set to 10° increments. I would prefer 5° increments.The door is not removable and I practically have to stand on my head to clean the top of the oven.Don’t Know:I have not used the dehydrator and never will. I have always been paranoid about leaving a small appliance on for hours on end. Plus it would be annoying to hear the fan running for hours (I am probably too sensitive to sound).
