Not sure about the energy efficiency but this is a nice little product. I was intrigued by the TV ads of a similar product and this thing is great. The smokeless system actually works pretty good. The griddle and grill surfaces are coated so they clean super easy, but the tray that funnels the drippings to a catch cup is not, so it is a little harder to clean, It come with a cook book that helps you use the control for cooking. There is room for 5 1/4 pound burgers, or 2 small steaks like strip steaks . you will only do 1 steak at a time if they are larger t bones or porter houses. Works great. only gave it a good on features and quality because there is a lot of plastic in the housing and the control is numbered and not in degrees so you have,1,2,3,4,5 instead of 200, 250, 300, etc

This is a well-made little grill with parts that come apart easily for cleaning. It heats up very quickly and cooks very evenly and includes a vented griddle and a flat griddle for searing, pancakes etc.We tested this outside and it heated up in less than five minutes to cooking temperature and we were able to cook burgers in less than 10 minutes once it was heated up. The heating elements pop out easily for cleaning as well as the drip pan and the water tray in the bottom. This would be perfect when you need a grill and there’s not good weather outside or in a situation where you can’t have a gas grill or a charcoal grill like a deck, apartment, or condo. I used this GoWISE USA 2-in-1 Smokeless Electric Indoor BBQ Grill and Griddle with Built-in Fan and Non-Stick Cooking Surface last night for the first time and was pleased with how the meat turned out. I used the smokeless grill side and tried thin cut pork chops and then some smoked sausages and was very happy with how both of them turned out and tasted. I think the sausage tasted more “grilled” if you will but they both were very good. Clean up was as easy as it says it is with this non-stick cooking surface and the fan worked well to contain any smoke from the meat grilling. We’re close to retiring and think this will be perfect for making dinner for the two of us. I plan on using the griddle side frequently for pancakes and sausage, etc. and I’m sure I will be using this appliance all the time!

This is a very versatile grill and griddle set. It heats quickly and evenly throughout the plate and could be maintained at specific temperature for cooking. The grill plate and dripping tray are easy to disassembled and removed from the heating elements and very easy to clean. The fan inside the set helps reduce smoke while we cook indoor.

This has been a very useful cooking appliance for my family. It’s easy to operate and cooks well. So far, I’ve made pancakes and cheeseburgers on it. They both turned out delicious and evenly cooked. It really is smokeless. Just be sure to follow the instructions and it does it’s job well. When I made the pancakes I loved how I could control the temperature to exactly where I needed it, and the griddle heated up evenly. The results were way better than anything I ever achieve in a pan on the stove. I also didn’t need to use anything to prevent sticking which was nice. Clean up is straightforward and easy. I know we will be getting a lot of use out of this appliance. I’d definitely recommend it to others.

I am in love with this grill/griddle combo. My first time using it, I made thin cut steak on the griddle for 2 minutes per side. I started out at level 3 heat and it wasn’t as seared as I would have liked, so I upped the heat to 5 and it came out perfect! I put 1 cup water in the water tray, but forgot to turn on the fan the first time I used it, and it was still very smokeless nonetheless! There was still lots of water left over in the tray when I was finished – I was curious whether it would evaporate, and if I would need to add water later, but I was happy to see that I didn’t need to. I think the instruction manual could use some updating; at first I couldn’t tell what the metal handles were for exactly until I looked at the image on the box. I would also like more information as to what temperatures the numbers on the dial represent. Overall, though, it was very easy to set up, heated quickly, and cooked my steak very evenly. Normally when I try to cook steak on the stovetop, I end up with a side of it overcooked and a side undercooked (of the same piece of steak! But not with this electric grill, and that’s what I love the most about it.) Also, I normally can’t grill inside the home because, whenever I’d cook steak on the stovetop, my son’s asthma would flare up from the thick smoke and he would start coughing. But he did not cough at all when I had this grill on because there was no smoke at all, and he was even sitting very close to the device waiting for dinner. I am truly happy.

I didn’t even know there was such thing as a smokeless grill but I’m glad I do know! Being from northeastern Pennsylvania we only can really grill during the summer time which is very short. This grill allows me to grill during the long winter season when I’m longing for some grilled food. The product is pretty much assembled when you get it. You just need to take off the protective plastic and put the handles on both of the grill tops which is super easy. It comes with 2 grill tops- one flat and one with divets and holes. Depending on what you are cooking depends on which grill top you will use. I used the one with divets and holes as I was grilling chicken. One you decide which grill top you need, you fill the tray with about one cup of water, plug the grill in, set the temperature gauge and turn the fan on. I expected the fan to be loud but it didn’t make a noise. I was a little unsure which number to turn the temperature dial to as it was 1-5 not the actual temperatures. There was no chart in the directions or suggestions on what number to cook meat on. Although when you grill outside you don’t have a temperature gauge, you control the flame so if you look at it that way you can kind of gauge which number to set the gauge to. It took about 10-15 minutes to cook the chicken on number 5 setting. You can see the grill marks in the picture! The chicken was delicious and moist! I was dreading the clean up because of all of the little divets and holes! To my surprise it was super easy! The dirt came off easily. The tray was easy to clean as well! Overall, I was very impressed with this product and can’t wait to grill some more!

So excited when it was dropped off the other Morning. I instantly took it out of the box to check everything out, definitely came well packaged. There was Styrofoam in every nook and crany keeping it protected. I have tested both smokeless grill, and the griddle part. The smokeless grill you just add a cup of water to the pan and turn on the fan after the grill is heated up, I cooked steaks on it and it was excellent! No smoke what’s so ever! Juicy and melts in the mouth, cooks pretty even. On The griddle I made blueberry pancakes and it took me a minute to figure out what the right temp was but finially got it. They turned out great too. I’m very happy with this product. The only con I would give this product is, Its taking me a while to fully understand the temp numbers. Still trying to get used to it but I feel once I mess with it a few more times I won’t have no problems
