Just what I needed, no more guesswork about what size bolt I need and whether it’s SAE or metric.

Not much you can say about a device like this, it either works or it doesn’t. Well, it works. I was able to quickly and accurately determine the thread pitch on my rifle’s muzzle.

Metric? SAE? NC or NF? It works great! It’s easy to use, and really comes in handy. It even has oddball pitches like 27 or 38 TPI.

Has 31 SAE/NF leaves (4/in-42/in) and 24 metric (6.0 mm-0.25 mm) leaves; total 55-very complete set. Everything I need and much more for a very good price. Knurled thumb nuts allow easy tightening of the pack after selecting one leaf to use. Initially thought they were Stainless steel but no-just oiled regular steel. Keep dry and oiled in a ziplock bag-will stay rustfree. Very clearly size marked on the same side of each leaf. The kind of tool you don’t need often but has no easy substitute. Very highly recommend.

Some instructions would be helpful, especially n the metric gauge. The gauge is well made. Some of the gauge sizes are blurry; a little hard to read. I’ve already used it and find it very useful.
