We are very happy with the popcorn machine with the exception of the “old maid” tray. The sides and back had to be folded in with pliers in order to get it to move in and out. You really want to have the tray in order to catch the unpopped kernels. Cleaning up does take a few minutes.

This was ordered to replace a 6-oz popper I had that developed a problem with the gear mechanism that stirs the kettle. Unfortunately, a similar problem on this popper was discovered first thing. Fortunately, I contacted the company and was eventually sent a new kettle piece which seems to have taken care of it. It doesn’t seem to stir as quickly as my previous one, but I have successfully popped a couple batches. However, I would only recommend this for home use rather than any type of commercial use (kids baseball, soccer, etc.)
