I own one of these and I always loved it, so I recently bought one as a joint birthday gift for 3 children, they were really excited by it and couldn’t wait to put bubblegum in it and start saving pennies in it! For the price, you can’t go wrong with how this product is made. Most places sell the exact model from 70 to 100 bucks so this price is best you’ll find. The globe is made of glass and the stand is of hardened steel. It’s very sturdy and just the right height just like the old-time machines were made.This product dispenses pretty much anything you put into it. It’ll dispense peanuts M&Ms, jellybeans, or a mixture of gumballs as well with any of the aforementioned.Be aware of the fact that before you fill it up after putting it all together to make sure that the handle turns… especially for non-coin use. If it doesn’t turn all the way, instructions will tell you how to loosen four screws on the turnkey plate as most of these will only turn about a half an inch out of the box.Be very careful with the glass globe as it is very thin glass. Have some towels or something that prevents any possible way that that globe doesn’t accidentally get knocked off the table. I believe you will not be able to get a replacement for the globe.Finally, it holds quite a bit of candy. Depending on the size of the candy, you can easily get 5 to 6 pounds into the container. Be careful how long you plan to keep your product for dispensing as peanuts for example will not last long for freshness because the globe is not sealed to keep candy or peanuts fresh.I know you’ll enjoy this product is it only takes about less than 15 minutes to put the stand together and it looks great anywhere you put it.
