The 24-Volt lithium-ion battery (sold separately) provides 20% more power and 35% more run-time, and delivers fade-free power with no memory loss after charging. The outdoor power equipment allows you to tackle up to 1/4 acre with the available 1.5 Ah, 2 Ah, and 4 Ah batteries. USB ports are integrated into the BAG711, BAG708, and BAG709 batteries, making it a portable charger for phones, tablets, and other compatible electronic accessories. The Greenworks 24-Volt platform comes with a 3-year tool/battery warranty to protect your investment.

The battery is not included with the saw but that’s ok. Once you have the battery, you’re all set and can work for quite a bit with no problems.

I’m a little late submitting the review because of being unable to use until I got a battery for it. That’s a huge negative and should come with one. I never understood why so many brands sell tools that aren’t ready to use right out of the box. Well now that I have one I love it. I’m not a tool person but have been wanting this saw for a long time to use on crafts. It is do easy and safe to use. Cuts a straight line easily for a beginner like me. love love love it!

This circular saw is been such an awesome addition to my tools on hand. It is very lightweight compared to others, and I like the fact that it is cordless so i can pick it and move it wherever I need to go without having to worry about a cord. It seems to be just as powerful as my corded saw is, even running on a battery. Im actually very impressed with it. I have made several signs for Christmas, and I cut some wood rounds as well to make ornaments.

The Greenworks circular saw works great! It’s a good size, cuts thru wood great as well. The blade is pretty sharp. It is also very easy to clean after use. My husband loves this circular saw. He is pretty happy with it. The noise level is perfect as well, does not hurt my ears. Overall very easy to use.
