I didn’t expect much from a battery operated trimmer. I got much more than I expected. Surprisingly powerful motor that can drive the strong through burmuda grass. The guide bar is useful for trimming around trees, poles and under hedges. Unbelievably light weight for the power it delivers. Battery power more than adequate four taking on walkways, edging and for making fence lines look neat.

I tried Greenworks Tools – 24V CORDLESS 12″ TORQDRIVE™ STRING TRIMMER W/ 2.0 AH BATTERY and feel its an excellent choice if you are looking for a battery operated (rechargeable) lightweight string trimmer. This was easy to set up and use. I think its great for small to medium sized string trimming jobs. I like that it does not make as much noise or smells as a traditional gas powered string trimmer. I will definitely be using this tool for future yard work jobs I’m doing at home. It works great and is really easy for me in particular to use. I recommend this highly if you want a string trimmer that does not need a cord or gasoline. I love that the battery is rechargeable and that the string trimmer is wireless. Its an excellent tool.

Little with a lot of power!! I live on a ranch so there’s a lot of grass area that needs tending to. I used this in the back portion of my house and let me tell you that this cordless trimmer was amazing. It grabs all the weeds and things around the edge of the grass super quickly and gets them all the way down to basically nothing my grass has never looked better! Just be careful though because it is a very powerful little tool. its super lightweight as well which I love. nor hard on the hands and even has a extra handle for That precision cut your looking for.

Just got my Greenworks Tools 24V Torquedrive weed trimmer and edger recently. First of all, it was really easy to set up out of the very protective box. The battery charger is small profile like the battery pack is — which is really good to see, rather than the bulky charger/battery packs of the past. Charged up really good and I am ready to go. The whole unit is very light, so my arms will last longer when edging. So I went out and did some edging. The Greenworks trimmer is really quiet unlike my old trimmer with gas. No fumes with this trimmer too. I used to get oil on my pant leg and shirt from the muffler with my old trimmer. No oil on the pants/shirt with this,— great. The large handle on the Greenworks trimmer is really nice for control. The power is great with the Greenworks trimmer, and 24V Torque power you can really feel. The battery can be used with their other 24V product too, which is nice. I like the fact that with this unit– it turns on and off with no idling. The trimming string feeds smooth and with no hang ups. Really nice safety foot guard so that you do not strike your foot with the string. Has a guard for going around plants which is a nice feature. I went trimming for a straight 30 minutes and it held up great overall. I recommend this trimmer for the average homeowner. Alot of great stuff in one box, and great for the environment in being a battery charged trimmer. Thank you Greenworks for the smooth 24V Torquedrive trimmer/edger.

I received this product in exchange for my review. I was quite excited to have access to a trimmer that I am able to use. The trimmer is lightweight which is perfect for anyone and the battery was sufficient to allow me to complete my yard on one charge. I like that it’s not the crazy loud gas powered trimmer we typically use and that it’s more environmentally friendly by using a rechargeable battery! I have been able to let my 12yr old use as well without any difficulty maneuvering the trimmer. I would definitely purchase on my own

I was so excited to try this product . Even my friends couldn’t believe I couldn’t wait to get off work to use it ! Lol . The directions were good at helping with assembly and I can’t put anything together not even a shower head . But it didn’t tell me how to use it . So I turned to YouTube it took a few mins to find some videos . Once I tired it out I still felt like I was doing it kind of wrong with the silver flappy thing. I tired to use it as an edger at first was under the impression that you could basically use it as one. It kind of worked but then I looked at another video and realized how to actually work it . It’s good for high grass that the lawn mower can’t reach . I did use it for about 30-45 mins and battery was still strong . I think I might use it as well in between cuts . Can’t wait to use it again . Ps I just got my first place where am actually in charge of the lawn . Hence the excitedness about trying this . But I think I will have to get an edger as well.

This trimmer has made my yard work so much easier. I upgraded from a corded trimmer to the Greenworks 24 volt, 12″ cordless trimmer. Best choice ever! It took me about 5 minutes to put it together.. it takes approximately 4 hours for the battery to charge, and you get between 35 to 40 minutes of use time from a single charge.It is a little heavier than my old corded one, but having the ability to easily maneuver it without getting tangled up in a cord Is amazing! The trimmer has a simple push start button, and an automatic line feeder(there is also a manual override if needed.) .My only suggestion is to get a second battery, especially if you have a large yard. Great quality made products!

I got this 24V cordless 12″ Torqdrive™ String Trimmer by Greenworks last month, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 2.0 AH battery was included, and after letting it charge, the string trimmer was able to take care of the weeds around the perimeter of both our back, front, and side yards, as well as a bunch of medium sized vines that were climbing up the wooden sections of our entryway. It trimmed very smoothly, and there were no snags, as I had been used to with the last trimmer I had purchased from a different brand. I am very happy with this one, and it is lightweight enough for me to use it, which is a big plus.

I received this 24 V Cordless 12” Torqdrive String Trimmer W/ 2.0 AH Battery for free in exchange for my honest review. This trimmer is a lot lighter than other trimmers I’ve used. The cut was perfect and I could trim in half the time. My teenage son wanted me to teach him how to use it and he did not want to stop. I am used to using a string trimmer with a cord, which I hate. I was so excited to get one without a cord. This trimmer is easy to use and not as heavy as corded ones I have used. The handle is in the perfect place so it doesn’t strain my forearm. The battery charges quickly and last a long time.
