The Elevator Desktop Stand For Laptops from Griffin Technology elevates your Windows or Mac laptop an additional 5.5″, helping to improve the ergonomics of your laptop setup. It will also help reclaim some of your desktop workspace, which can then be used for an external keyboard, mouse, or another accessory/purpose. The elevation provided by this stand allows air to circulate 360° around your system. The Elevator Desktop Stand also disassembles for travel and is constructed using a brushed aluminum design. I enjoy the simple and elegant solution for a laptop stand. It holds my 15″ MBP securely without any wobble. It assembles simply and quickly. My wireless keyboard fits across the lower part of the supports and is held up out of the way by the cross piece. Great design and execution. Thanks to Griffin Design.

The first one I ordered was manufactured incorrectly. Once the metal parts were inserted into the plastic connector piece, the stand was lopsided and unstable. The cutouts in the plastic where the metal parts are inserted are cut incorrectly. The replacement one I receive also suffered the same problem. I have one of these from over 7 years ago and it’s been great and did not have this problem. I wish I could give this a better review but it’s apparent there are quality control problems at Griffin with this product. I do not recommend.

Easy to put together. Holds a small size laptop pretty well; it won’t slide off. However, I would change those clips on the end from plastic to metal, they seem easy to chip or break.
