Description

We wanted a portable planer that was lighter to carry around and finished cuts faster, but didn’t lack muscle or design quality. The result was the Model G0505. This 12-1/2 in. Planer features a 2 HP motor, 10,000 RPM cutterhead, 32 FPM feed rate, top-mounted return rollers and extra-large table extensions. Additional features like 1/8 in. T knives (instead of the 1/16 in. T knives on most portables) are proof that this dynamo will rule the jobsite for years.

I bought the planer few weeks ago and I m really happy with it. I have a few snaps but I think I still need level and make more accurate, maybe? but I love the huge bag that come with the planer.. I attach and almost no mess.. Its definitely the biggest bonus. I still need figure out how to plan less than 1 and half in thick.. I still need read the manual and see if I can do that.. but overall is awesome and I m happy.

I am only going by the build as i haven’t gotten a chance to do anything with it yet. but it doesn’t feel like something Grizzly would put their name on. it just feels very cheaply made.
