Our 10 in. x 22 in. Benchtop Metal Lathe sports generous capacity, a lot of thread ranges, a wider bed, and a larger chuck, yet it costs only a little more than our G4000. With features like a 1 in. spindle bore, 3/4 in. x 12 TPI leadscrew and an MT#3 tailstock, you’ll be able to turn some surprisingly hefty projects. I’d originally looked at this lathe through Grizzly and it was actually a tad cheaper but arranging delivery would have been more difficult. The Home Depot credit card deal took it back to a little cheaper than Grizzly but the promised rebate has not yet shown up on my statement. The lathe arrived with no damage, in great shape and seems ready for all the things I plan to do with it.
