Really great saw for .065 stainless steel tube which is my primary use. The angle measurement on the side is accurate but the blade that comes with the saw is really sub-par. Order a quality blade and it changed the machine for the better

All of the bolts that came with the saw to assemble were either missing threads or were broken. In order to assemble it, I was forced to purchase all new bolts. Gotta say, was not at all impressed.

Purchased this saw on sale a few weeks back direct from Grizzly. Although all of these saws castings are identical thats were the similarities end the Grizzly has much more stout stand a different motor and motor mounting configuration. V belt speed adjustment is easy and blade changes are simple. Good directions on assembly and only had to square up vice to bkade to get perfectly square cuts. The blade tracking was spot on as well. Horizontal table is beefier than HF although i won’t get much use as i have a Swag portaband table paired with a Bauer deep cut. . I sm a fan of HF but i have no regrets spending the extra money for the Grizzly 4×6

Required adjusting the auto off switch, squaring of the blade, and bending the stamped pulley cover a bit to allow it to close fully. These are minor things but may reflect quality control. Time will tell. The unit is also top heavy and could flip when opening. I welded up a sturdier stand to fix.

It’s kinda cheap. Not so solid. The blade bounces when cutting. In vertical position the flate table is too small and not really stable .
