I have had it about a month, only used it once so far. The container and pocket for the bits, sanders, grinders is far too small to keep/store them. I am not using it for crafts so some of the attachments do not apply. I am using it in the trades. I can see where this case design is great for shipping, but it would be better for use if it was hollow and lined with foam rubber. Not practical for everyday use.

Easy to set up, assembly was minimal. It has a light attachment. So you can see what you are working on. It has a nice case. Storage for the accessories (the drill bits, disks, etc) isn’t great.

The Gyros PowerPro variable Speed Rotary tool matches all my Craftsman Rotary accessories that finally gave up the ghost after 12 yr. Although it has a large case… the accessories storage leaves a great deal to be desired.. so I use my Craftsman’s case for accessories storage.

many of the added brushes a etc fell apart after after just starting to use I have not used the little grinding bits so I do not know how the will hold up the cutter wheels worked normally and the rotary drill worked ok but cannot put too much pressure or it will slow down where it will not cut or is useable. also i have to run it on high all the time or it will not work properly I feel like returning thr tool but some parts are missing as the broke so easily

Good value for the money, i bought it for a single job [cutting tile], it did a good job. Order plenty of cutting disk’s, as it uses them quickly. The instructions are vague, but overall it’s easy to use. The only bad thing is that you have to order the cutting disk’s online, i could not find them in any store.

I like the extra powerful motor, abundance of accessories, generous case, and balance of the tool itself. I’m a casual user, and I’ve done some wood engraving twice, reshaped some plastic pieces, and made a metal piece as a backing to a repair in a shape with low tolerances. I had trouble after my first project with the spindle lock breaking, but Gyros was quick to offer a free repair or to send me the part. I choose the latter and the repair was super simple, but I’m a bit worried it’s going to happen again. It’ll be a pain to do it manually with an old allen wrench or something. Hopefully they’ll back that repair long term, or they should remove this tool from the shelves completely.

I needed a rotary tool for Intarsia items that I am starting to make. After considering name brand rotary tools and searching The Home Depot web site I came across this item and it seemed to compare with other tools of the same variety. I liked that this kit had the flexible shaft and tool mount unit included with the 85 piece accessories too. I have used it on a few projects and it has performed very well. The variable speed is very easy to set and you can shut the unit off and restart it without resetting the speed. The accessory assortment will get you started on most projects. I consider this a great purchase with the accessories included, the variable speed and warranty plus the case for storage. Go to Gyros web site to find the history of this company and product, plus check Home Depot’s web site or stores for available accessories, I think you will be impressed with the performance of this purchase.

This tool kicks dremels rear end and comes with a lot of extra bits and attachments.Iv had many dremels in the past and non of them where built as rugged and powerful as the POWERPRO VARIABLE SPEED ROTARY TOOL KIT (85-ACCESSORIES).
