I’ve only had my 7 1/2” Cable Cutters for a couple of weeks now. I bought it to cut braided stainless bicycle cable based on some of reviews. To date, I have only used them to cut hardened wood molding nails. For that, these cutters did a great job. It did not take as much effort to trim the nails!

This HK Porter 7-1/2 in. cable cutter cuts very clean for hard cable up to 3/16 in. Also cuts bike cables very clean. Handles could be a little longer for leverage on 3/16 cable, but it works fine and is a handy size. Is a great price for a top quality cable cutter. Great value.
