This is a high quality professionally finished tool that makes it a real pleasure to use. The handle has a nice knurled finish that gives excellent grip. the push button angle adjustment is simple to use. The heft of the tool and length of 44 inches contribute to making the work productive and not frustrating.

This is a really heavy duty tool for bending rebar. I was surprised at how heavy it really was. Not easily used by the average person because it is soooo heavy. I had to get my handyman to use this because it was beyond my ability. We used it on the rebar we had to put in the cinder block wall we made for the deck. Worked great. Nice and sturdy. This is one tool you never have to worry about breaking. It is made to last a lifetime and well worth the cost if you use a lot of rebar.

Don’t let it fool you, this skinny little bar is built like a howitzer and nearly half the weight. Bending rebar is easier and better than cutting and tying, and required for a lot of permitted structural work. With a little muscle and leverage its easy to use on #5 bar. I used mine infrequently but mainly on block walls. You either need it or you don’t, but when you do there really isn’t a substitute for a rebar bender. I’m very impressed with the quality of craftsmanship and fit/finish. You usually don’t buy something that is both sturdy and refined.
