We received this little steamer and it’s lite and powerful. I steamed several pieces of new clothing that was wrinkled pretty bad. The little brush removed any loose fibers and the reservoir holds enough water to steam several pieces of clothing and it doesn’t spit water on the clothing.

I’ve read many reviews about other brands and most complained about the amount of spitting they experienced. I can happily say that this product DOES NOT spit water while using. As this is the first steamer I have used there was a very small learning curve to using but I got the hang of it very quickly. I decided to try this out on a denim shirt and I must say that it did an excellent job! This is a wonderful product. Do not hesitate to buy this steamer!!

This new handheld steamer is great, light enough to travel with but powerful enough for everyday use in the laundry room. It is easy to access and fill reservoir is large enough to complete large tasks with ample steaming time. It also heats up quickly so there is not waiting for the steam to build up and the pivoting cord makes it easy to steam every part of the garment.

Love this steamer. It’s very light weight. Super easy to use. I was able to steam my shirt in less than a minute or so. I love that it had a button for me to control when i want to release steam. So you don’t have to keep refill the water because it ran out. The water last longer. I’m a mother of two little boys so their safety is my priority. With this steamer not only will it not dispense steam when I’m not using it but it also have rubber feet. With the rubber feet’s it will not slide if any of my kids was to pull the cord. My only dislike is i wish the steamer would have a retractable cord. Or somewhere i can store it inside. the steamer also has a attachable brush which it’s so cool to use for certain type of fabric.

The Hamilton Beach Handheld Garment Steamer is lightweight and easy to use. After filling the water tank to the max fill line, the steamer heated quickly and was ready to use in under a minute. The pivoting cord makes it easy to maneuver the steamer. To determine how well the steamer would work, I used the steamer on a heavyweight shirt, khaki pants, a dress shirt, damask tablecloth, and insulated curtains. The steamer did remove the wrinkles on each item. After steaming, the items do not have the crisp look of items that have been pressed. Instead, the items have a relaxed look. Per the instructions, garments will have a relaxed appearance after steaming. The steamer can use tap water or distilled water. If you use tap water, you will need to follow the instructions to remove mineral deposits to keep the steamer functioning at its best. The instructions indicate that the water level should not go below the MIN Fill Line. However, there isn’t a MIN Fill Line that I could find. As I was using the steamer I was constantly checking to determine if tube in the water reservoir was still submerged. My rating of 3 on Design is because the MIN Fill Line is missing.

I received this Hand held garment steamer in its attractive box. The picture on the outside of the box shown what was exactly inside.I read the easy to understand instructions and was ready to go.I used distilled water because of the type of tap water available in my area and filled it to the MAX line.I plugged the steamer into a convenient power outlet and immediately it too was ready to go.I attached the brush that was included, pressed the steam on button and took out all of the wrinkles that I had on by sport coat.I tried it on other articles of clothing made of different materials. It worked great on all of my clothes.I wish all my friends and family had such a great tool.

The garment steamer is good in getting wrinkles out, although you do have to go over the same area a couple of times to achieve the desired results. I like that it has a brush attachment that helps keep the fabric taut. A con is that you have to hold the button down to keep the steam flowing continuously and that a bit of steam sometimes came out even when the button was not being pressed.

I tried this on my wrinkled dress, on the left side in the photos. It took quite a bit longer than I thought it would. The next morning I decided to try the steam feature on my Hamilton Beach steam iron. The results are in second photo. Left side, hand held steamer, Right side, steam iron. Both in upright position. Hand held did do better job. I couldn’t locate any mark for minimum fill. It is a little difficult with my diminished hand strength. Overall I do like it, and will experiment on my crochet and knit projects that require stretching.

I’ve been so excited to write this review. I could hardly wait to try the hand held garment steamer. The day it arrived I immediately tried it on a pair of stretch, twill pants. For some reason this pair of pants always wrinkles and the wrinkles don’t like to press out.. I put the steamer to this ultimate test and it came through with flying colors. It only took a pass or two and the wrinkles vanished. What a timesaver! I highly recommend it!

This little steamer is awesome! The picture shows the shorts and the white crease of where it always was! The flat silver piece helps flatten. It takes no time, literally, I just got carried away steaming the entire short! Lightweight, handles easy, convenient. It worked great on my husband’s suits and shirts! HE (Yes, that’s right!) used the little brush for some suits. Excellent bargain!

I was excited to get this steamer because I hate to iron. Really hate it – so much I take my clothes to the dry cleaners so I don’t have to iron. I was hoping that this steamer would be great to help with wrinkles and it was . . . but only on lightweight materials. It didn’t seem to work well on heavier cottons but on polyesters and light cottons it wasn’t bad. Not perfect but you could see some wrinkles disappear. I think that the more I practice with it the better some of the wrinkles might come out so I’m not giving up yet!
