The retractable cord is wonderful. However the iron is a bit heavy/big for my smaller projects. If you are doing a lot of steaming and spraying it would be a super choice. The iron was easy to fill and it is truly self cleaning.

For someone that really doesn’t like ironing, I found this iron makes it as easy as possible. I like the retractable cord so you are not fighting the cord while ironing and the amount of steam is great and takes care of wrinkles quickly . The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because it feels heavier than I would like.

I must admit ironing is one of my least favorite chores in fact I stopped using certain pieces of clothing and my favorite cloth napkins because I dreaded the task. I do have to say it’s true that having the right tools for the job make all the difference. The steam power and smooth glide made my previously dreaded chore of ironing so much easier and effective in removing wrinkles than other irons I’ve used. This iron produces way more steam and continous steam so I was wrinkle free in no time at all!I also very much appreciate the 3 way auto shutoff feature because I have in the past had to drive home because I had the sinking feeling I left the iron on, that is not a concern with this iron. I use this iron daily to press my shirts and pants for work, and it does an excellent job. It is easy to use iron, and it gets warm enough to leave great creases. The retractable cord makes it easy to store without worrying about it, taking up extra space.

This iron is best one I have used till now. It’s good in breaking creases and has a nice color and look. I like that it has various temperature settings for different clothes material. It takes up just a few seconds to reach the desired temperature. Also, the steam setting is very powerful and helps in breaking creases on thick clothing like pants. Auto shut function is a blessing to me.Overall it’s a wonderful iron with almost every feature that you would want an iron to have.

Nice iron. MUCH lighter than our previous iron. The non stick surface makes it glide over the item you are ironing. The color is nice compared to our old black iron (oldie). The self storing recoiling cord is a very welcome addition for storage. Setting the temperature is a breeze with the new style temp control. Spritzing and steaming features work very well.

This iron is comfortable to use, and does a great job steaming wrinkles out of the clothes. The water reservoir is easy to fill and the iron glides smoothly over clothes. The iron also heats up quickly. The only problem that I found was that the retractable cord keeps getting stuck as it is going back into the iron and you have to keep pulling it back out and then pressing for it to go back in again.

I’ve been looking for a new iron and this one is pretty good. It’s not too heavy but not light either so it’s a good iron for every day use. There are multiple heat settings as well as the steam button which I like having for stubborn wrinkles. The iron works well for all the different types of materials I own. One of the best features is the retractable cord. My old iron did not have this and I always had to wrap the cord around the iron so it was neat and tidy. However I don’t have to worry about that with this iron thanks to the retractable design.

I was really excited when I opened up the box. The color of the iron first caught my attention. Once I read the instructions it was so easy to use this iron. I never iron pillowcases but I decided to give it a try. The cleaning of the iron was minimal. Then you have the added bonus of a retractable cord. I would highly recommend the Hamilton Beach Duration Iron!!!!!

I love that it is digital and has lights so I can see the seeing, I am becoming a little bit visual impaired as I get older. It heats up very quickly and the steam function works great. I love that I can see through the water reservoir so I know how much water is remaining and when to fill. As I mentioned above I have a little trouble reading so the setting were just a little hard for me to see but it is becoming that way on a lot of things, the point is, when I learned where they were the lights help me know exactly what setting I have it on. It even has a clean function. I would highly recommend this iron to anyone.

This iron is very effective as a steam iron. By either setting the iron to the steam setting or using the manual button for a “shot” of steam, it produces quite well and makes it easy to take care of heavy or light fabrics. The iron is comfortably light, and the sole plate glides easily over the clothes. I would recommend this iron except for one thing: the button to change the settings is up on the handle, and I constantly kept hitting it with my hand as I ironed and changed the setting on it numerous times. It was a constant “thorn in my side” as it were and it was more trouble than was necessary.
