I didn’t know what an egg Bite was until I got this Egg Bite Maker last week. So far I’ve made one Egg Bite and several poached eggs. They all came out great. It took me a couple of tries to determine the amount of water needed to be added to the base so that the poached eggs came out to the exact Doneness that I like. Now all I do is add the water and the eggs and plug it in. In a few minutes I have perfectly cooked poached eggs. I think it’s a great product and it’s easy to clean..

This little gem is very easy to use. It comes with suggested recipes but you can get creative with your own. The clean up is so simple, I was pleased the eggs didn’t stick! The eggs were fluffy and tasted great!

The Hamilton Beach Egg Bites Maker is a wonderful and very convenient product. It has a sturdy base, measuring cup, lid, and removable tray. All removable items are dishwasher safe. Fill the measuring cup with water. Pour it into the middle section of the base. Place tray on top. Do not preheat item.Prepare egg mixture and pour on tray. Cover with lid. Plug base in. The red and green light will come on. When the green light goes off the eggs are done. Now it time to enjoy some delicious and fluffy egg bites.

What a great product. Made perfectly cooked eggs every time. Great for traveling because of the extreme compactness of the unit and they are ready in a few minutes. Very easy to use and comes with a few delicious recipes. You could easily modify your own recipe to your liking.

I admit I ordered this out of curiosity, just for the fun of it. But now I wonder how I lived without it. So useful and a nice compact size that fits neatly in a small cabinet.I tend to use eggs as a quick, satisfying, high protein breakfast that keeps me going till lunch and poached eggs are a favorite. But I’ve never been happy with the way my poached eggs came out cooked in a pot of simmering water. They would have a messy shape and be soggy. Plus I had to keep an eye on them. This unit solves all those problems.Pop in an egg bite mixture using your favorite ingredients or drop in an egg for a simple poached egg. Plug in and go do whatever else needs to be done without having to keep an eye on them. It automatically turns off when done and the eggs stay warm under the cover if you don’t get to them right away.I also like hard boiled egg salad sandwiches but hate peeling. Now I can cook a couple eggs without shells, take them out, cool, cut up and mix up into egg salad for sandwiches or blend into a potato or macaroni salad. So much easier!

We have only used it one time, the eggs are OK – I did not make poached eggs, however so the ease of making poached eggs for two might earn higher praise. Of course, we only used it one time so I am hardly an expert. Well made unit though. Clean up was easy!

The egg bites maker is so easy to use I’ve been having a blast making my own egg bites. I used go to the coffee cafe to have these made but not anymore. There’s no need! Making egg bites at home is definitely cost effective and addicting fun. This product is easy to clean, doesn’t take up counter space as it’s a cute compact product that’s really versatile. A quick recipe card is included to get you started as well as a measuring cup and an instruction booklet. The egg cups can hold up to two eggs but just make sure that you take the extra ingredients into consideration. Be careful to not overfill and add water per instruction. I like that you can make egg bites with egg whites too (Bonus, there’s also a coffee shop recipe in the quick start guide!) Which is delicious, my daughter especially likes them made with cream cheese, chives, and bacon bits. What’s nice is that you can even make poached eggs without any fuss or muss. I’m terrible getting the texture right with poached eggs but I followed the guidelines in the booklet and they came out beautifully. Have fun changing up the ingredients with your egg bites maker because it really brings out a super fun experimental side. There’s so much that can be done with it. Make healthy egg bites, bacon cream cheese egg bites, chives and cottage cheese egg bites, bacon broccoli egg bites—the list goes on as far as your imagination(or ketogenic/healthy lifestyle) I can’t recommend it enough. Imagine making these the night before, freezing what you need for a later day, or just having a quick egg bites for an on-the-go breakfast. Easy and fun!

This egg maker is great! It feels very sturdy and well built compared to other products similar to this that I have used. I made poached eggs using the water levels that came with the maker, and I will be using less water as we like very easy eggs. But the levels given have given me a place to start. The eggs slide out of the lil cups easy. I sprayed them the first batch, but didn’t the second and still slide out easy. Cleaning was breeze.

This was a fun kitchen toy to use and experiment with. Super easy to use and I love that most of the parts are dishwasher safe. The base is the only part that is not dishwasher safe as it has the electrical cord attached. You can easily wipe out the base with a wet wash cloth or paper towel. I would say each egg bite pocket takes about 1 egg. I use extra large eggs myself but they worked. I didn’t use the recipes that came with the machine this time around and it seemed so easy, I just made up my own combinations instead. I mixed up two eggs in a bowl and then spread the egg mixture between the two cups. Then I added ham and swiss or feta and bacon and onion to the other. You add the 100 ml of water using the little cup to the base, then the egg bites tray, the lid and plug it in. That’s it, both lights come up and it does its thing. Once the green light turns off you just unplug the machine and let it sit for a short time to cool down. My only suggestions for improvements would be, a longer cord, some sort of bell or chime to alert you that it is done so that you are not constantly checking to see if the green light is on or off and maybe include an auto shut-off feature once the green lights turns off.
