My toaster have been a life saver during this pandemic. Our oven stop working so now we can bake food dishes that we love. This toaster oven is a great size for my counter space. So if your looking for a toaster oven then this is a good one to bake chicken, pizza, cake, lasagna, macaroni and cheese etc. so go and enjoy this toaster oven after it arrives. Ciao!

This is a nice-sized, nice looking large countertop oven. I’ve used a countertop oven for nearly 17 years for most of my meals. I only use the regular oven for larger dinners and baking that requires larger pans. Yes, the outside of the oven is hot to the touch, so be careful where you place it. I’ve always used the top as a plate warmer (place a cooling rack on top to prevent the plates from getting too hot to handle). This oven is a simple mechanical controls. It has no computer chips to burn out, or LED/LCD panels to go on the blink. However, the trade off may be foregoing any modern sensors designed to better control the temperature. See my notes below about running hot. One big plus is that it is larger than my previous model so I can use larger pans. I have not yet used the rotisserie in this one, but in my previous model I used the rotisserie for chicken and smaller pork tenderloins, and the results were great. The pans that come with it seem nice, however I don’t use them as I prefer others that I’ve found. The larger of the pans fits into the rack slots in the side of the oven so it does not require a rack to sit on.One problem I had researching these ovens was to find precise dimensions. The manufacture and retail site specs are scant and misleading, and it gets worse when you read the reviews. So here are some measurements you can trust for this model:Outside dimensions:20-5/8″ width x 16-1/2″ depth x 13-1/2″ height (from the countertop)The depth includes the handles and two spacers in the back that prevent the oven from touching the back wall. Be sure to allow sufficient space on all sides because the outside does get hot!Inside dimensions (see 9×13 pan comment below for more on width):13-3/4″ useful width x 13-1/4″ useful depth x 9-1/4″ height- Height from bottom rack to top (burner element) is about 7-3/4″- Height from center rack to top (burner element) is about 6-3/8″9×13 Pan? Yes, but not most of them:Hamilton Beach really is misleading us by flattely stating that this oven fits 9×13 pans. It does, but not just any 9×13 pan. The actual width of the inside is just barely over 13-3/4″. I think a pan that is 13-3/4″ wide will fit. At between 2-1/4′ to 2-3/4″ above the center rack, the oven is only 13-1/4″ wide due to the rotisserie fittings. Pans are sized by the inside dimensions and thus most 9×13 pans are wider than 13-3/4″ overall. So, pans with slanted sides, wide rolled edges, or handles usually will not fit in this oven. I returned two sets of rolled-edge pans that I though would work, but they just barely did not fit. Just today I finally found 9×13 pans branded by Food Network that are only 13-1/2″ wide and they do fit. The pans are gold, nonstick, and have square “rolled” edges. They are very thick and seem to be nice pans.Same caution for round pans since the oven is not as deep as it is wide. You should be able to fit a 12″ pizza pan inside as long as it does not have a wide rim.Mine runs hot…One star off because my oven seems to run very hot. When set at 400° F (and empty), the oven got well over 450° F, which is off the scale of my oven thermometer. I’m running it with the knob at about 300-350° F for most of my meals that I would cook at 400° F. One more con…the dials are difficult to read compared to the older model I had. The font is smaller, too small for these old eyes. This is my second Hamilton Beach countertop oven. The first one lasted well over 10 years, and I would have given it 5 stars even though it is slightly smaller than this one. I’m hoping to get that much more time out of this new one.Happy cooking…Ken

This oven is a little bigger than a microwave but very light, which is good because I have to move it from one counter to another to keep my prep area free. It bakes evenly and efficiently. I’m amazed at the quality of this oven at the price. It comes with a baking pan that fits into the slots where the racks go, two racks, a smaller baking tray, rotisserie utensils and a rack to set in the smaller pan.

This replaced a old toaster over of the same model, the new one heats more evenly and the oven is a little larger, over all we use this 99% of the time instead of our stove oven.

This is no doubt my favorite and most used small appliance. Can’t be without it. thinking of getting a new one because the old is so dirty from use.
